Meeting the Unicorn

*A chipper, scruffy looking human man named Kalin begins asking around Myth Drannor for a "Mister Blue" and the mages' quarters. He appears to only know that Blue is "a powerful elven mage in the city", but seems determined to find the man. He also asks pretty much every elf he meets what they think a good gift for a unicorn would be and where he might find whatever they suggest.*

*blue has heard of many people looking for him and shows up now and then when he can as his wife is sick after given birth to their second child a lilttle girl.. so when he has the chance he leves his brothers to look after them and comes to town...*

(once up to 3 times a week now i will log in to deal with enchants or issues that arise obviously more often when danger is present this is to keep me from being burned out on game for now)

Kalin exits The Traveler's Star one bright snowy morning with a large amount of warm liquor and some mugs in his arms. He plops onto the nearest bench by the fire and smiles at everyone nearby.

"Would anyone like a drink?"

After serving those whom are interested, he checks for Zhents (even knowing that they are banned from the camp), known followers of evil gods, people who seem likely to report to either group, and mean people in general. He begins talking when those types are gone.

"I am planning to visit the House of Nature. It is another plane of existence, where the paragons of all that is green and bestial reside. I do this with the intent of having a private conversation with the Unicorn Queen herself. That said, I do not see why others could not join me in pilgrimage, if they wish to. I have secured an Archmage's help in forming the portal there as well as a method to return home, when the time comes. I just need to find an artifact of the Unicorn's to act as a catalyst for the spell."

He offers another round of drinks to his audience before continuing.

"If any of you or anyone you know would be interested in embarking on a journey that could very well end in your death on another plane of existence in the fangs of a furred monstrosity, do tell me, as having company would be nice. The only requirements are that you be competent at staying alive, aren't a jerk, would be unlikely to upset the Unicorn Queen, and are willing to let me have a private conversation with the Unicorn... That last part is key. Private. I plan to ask her some rather embarrassing things."

He smiles happily, looking at each face.

"I will, of course, need to vet anyone who is coming and will probably limit the number to what is manageable. . . Questions?"

Valtore offer's his help after the free drinks. He would be interested in the adventure and the chance to learn more, he is the Loremaster of the Ironhouse Clan after all.

Ratava listens to Kalin's offer, a wide smile plastered on his face. Turning to Kalin he says:

"A chance to visit another plane, meet a god, test myself against new and deadly creatures, and all while aiding a friend and fellow Blood Raven? Count me in!"

Kirala, standing somewhat close to Kalin, looks up to him and winks,

"Always up for 'n adventure if'n you're makin' this all public 'n' available." She prods him gently, " 's th' best way I can think of t' keep a good eye on ya."

*blue grumbles distantly seems lost and wondering about camp* i cant i must decline *walks off wandering back to the city and disappears*

Evan walks by the fire and hears the request.
If Im able Ill come.
I have duties to the Wardens and the Order of the Sheild, but if this does not collide Ill welcome the experience of adventure.
