A letter to Lucas

*the words are written in long looping joins that seem like the fingers that held the pen were too long to be human*

Master lucas.

i write under influence of the polymorph spell to attain some sight in order to write this, i apologise if it is not as elegant as you may have expected.

i write to you in order to ask for a meeting between yourself and a friend of mine that you may wish to know further, i ask that it is carried out in a well hidden place as they have much to speak of and i do not believe the tavern is such a place. My friend would like it if they are not seen approaching the meeting or indeed leaving as their secrecy would like to be well kept for such a thing would cause all manner of unecessary problems for all parties involved, even myself...this i do not wish.

A second letter is posted behind the bar of the tavern, teh writing is far from neat adn wobbles with the long looping writings again.

lucas...i have had much time to think upon this and since i have had no word from arcane sources upon my problems i would ask for another meeting to discuss this further.

the signature ends abruptly as the quill line drops off and is acompanied by some splatter marks suggesting that it was dropped.

A letter finds its way to the hidden places of shadowdale marked with a seal of wax to lucas

it reads simply this

I require your guidance upon a certain matter that you may already be knowledgable of concerning a mutual associate.

please could you meet at any time that you have free as i know your duties bind you greatly
