| Hello Underdark! I am considering making a Drow in the near future. I consider myself very familiar with Drow, their culture, and their behavior. That being said, I understand that Drow may be very different here and am seeking to familiarize myself with the local underdark to learn any nuances or divergences from published FR novels and sources that are in play here. Ustan am somewhat familiar with a few different takes on the drow "meta-language", and ol'z not something dos forget easily, nau? However, I would like to know which resource ya'll uses as the cannon Drow language, and how much of it is expected of a player to know. Any information on the "Story Thus Far" would be helpful too.(Other than what is published here) I'm also looking for information on what quelars are up and running, who's recruiting, what's wanted/needed. lolth tlu mala, and all that jazz... | |

| There's also the noble quellar dabelkith and that other one we don't talk about Generally banshee took the local city from the drow, they're holed up in the refugee camp while they plan to retake the city. there are two local quellars and the local mercenary guild who recruit, all three do so ingame. Generally I say play what you prefer and there's most likely a space for you down here Also if your like the heretic surface drow sorta person then theres also the vaehrunite *coughmafiacough* quellar jaelre on the surface you can join | |

| Qu'ellar Zau'Afin and Qu'ellar Dabel'kith are the current, player run noble houses in the UD. Zau'Afin is recruiting, but if you want more info on our recruiting policy, I would suggest you check out our guild page under PC guilds Also, feel free to send a PM to any guild member if you have any questions (including moi). There are two DM houses that are also present, one owns the "refugee camp", the other lives out in the UD. Qu'ellar Jaerle is a surface based, Vhaeraunite Drow noble house, also player run. And of course, we have Bregan D'aerthe, player run. Information on Drow RP and playing one's drow well can be found: HEREAnd HereAnd on any of the current Drow Guild pages | |

| In regards to Drommon, use it as you see fit. If you typed totally in English text, I doubt anyone would complain. Just depends on you. To annoy surfacers, I strongly suggest using the Drommon. | |

| If you make a Drow character you will always find my character Nanga sitting around on wooden crates and complaining about splinters in her bottom. I would love to RP with you and introduce you to our wonderfully evil family and answer your questions In Character. I can explain all you need to know about ALL drow houses as I seem to have touched them all in some fashion or another in my 9 months of playing my Drow bardess. Make a new Drow and come RP with me, I am always happy to help new players. If your character is a handsome Jaluk and makes a good impression Nanga may even give you a shiny new weapon or a sack of gold to help...to be repaid later of course in essence materials Nana loves to help new players and direct them to the mushroom forest where Mycanoid parts can be harvested! Wecome to the Under Dark! | |

Language resource. I believe there's a thread in the dalelands lore section about other common words. | |
