the Maze on the mountain

Sometimes travelers to the Maze on Mt. Crag will stumble upon a dwarf (Valtore) that is wondering the maze. He always has stacks of books with him as he is translating the runes on the walls. He speaks the lost Illefran language, but seems to mumble a lot to himself and begins to jump subjects quickly when people try to talk to him. He has spent two months here now coming out about once a week to get more supplies.

Evan knows of Valtores research in the Maze and occasionally visits him to see if his sanity is still intact. Evan also brings food and local news and gossip to Valtores ears.
