Expected Absence / Reduced Play Time

Throughout the months of May, June, and July I will be on significantly less than I have been in the past.

Besides having final exams to study for, I will be graduating in mid-May. After that, and up until the end of July, I will be studying for the bar exam. (Yes, law school, and no, I won't help you with your next run-in with the cops. You are all on your own.) I'll also be job hunting in the meantime.

So, if I'm on, it might only be in the late evenings and sometimes on weekends to de-stress. I make absolutely no guarantees about when or if I will be on, or what characters I'll be on, though I will try and limit myself to my three factioned characters (Ardylan, Abadrael, and Sarinos). It all depends on my mood.

I will still check this forum regularly to at least check for PMs. If you need me for anything, including some kind of an event, just let me know and I might be able to make it. You folks with my skype contact info can still message me as well.

So, in short, never fear for I am still here. I just will be scarce for the next three months, and but just tired, grumpy, and possibly buzzed when I am on. But afterwards things will settle down again.

My experience so far is in criminal law; I've worked as a public defender at both the county and state appellate level. But, considering that's a government job and budgets are tight here, I don't know what my chances are of being able to do that full-time. I'm also interested in intellectual property (non-patent) so that's a possibility as well.

I don't think I could deal with handling divorce proceedings though. I have a low tolerance for people who whine about things they probably could have fixed themselves.

Edit: Oh, duh, anyway, the point of me being in this thread again was to say I've been on even less than I thought I would, and I'm aware I may have left some RP hanging in the wind because of it. But don't worry - I'm taking a break so I don't get so entirely burnt out that I rage-log and never come back. Its just that lately when I do log in, nobody I need/want to RP with is on. Bad timing, I guess.

So with that said, just assume that Ardylan is hanging out in the Grove and Myth Drannor being jaded and grumpy (and giving Ka all the attention he wants <3), Abadrael is still being held by an unknown kidnapper, Zade got lost in a book, Alex is working in Free Haven and "conducting business on her back" (har har), and the others are... doing whatever they normally do.

I will be back in game eventually, and in the meantime, I'm still here! (Obviously.)
