*Early one morning, before sunrise, Ardylan can be spotted walking out of the depths of the Cormanthor and heading toward Myth Drannor. Something about him seems... different. Whether it is a "good" different or a "bad" different has yet to be seen.
Wearing a dark set of black and gold mithril instead of his old bronze dragon-hide armor, he no longer glints in the sunlight like he used to. His hair has gotten longer, having not bothered to cut it while he was out in the woods, and hangs loose past his chin, almost to his shoulders. The look on his face is much more serious than ever before, complete with a neutral frown and a stern look in his eyes. His demeanor has definitely changed - calm, focused, and with significantly less anger and impulsiveness than before.
It has been quite awhile since he has been seen around the city on a regular basis, and even his presence in the Grove has been spotty at best. He's tried his best to leave Ka little notes and such in their quarters, but it is a far cry from actually spending quality time together.
His absence from the Grove, from the city, and from life itself in general seems as if it has come to an end. If anyone asks him where he has been, he'll simply state he was in the woods meditating. Anyone who pesters him further for a better explanation is met with nothing but a steady glare and an order to go about their business or get back to work.*
