| The following is a draft of the opening speech by Chairman Brenor Hastalion. As more sessions are held, both opening speeches and Key-notes in the following debates will be made puplic, along with any official standpoints the Mathor-Selmiira will reach.
Your Loyal Servant Brenor Hastalion Priest of Corellon Chairman of the Mathor-Selmiira
"In the name of the Seldarine I, Brenor of house Hastalion, War-priest of Our most holy Lord Corellon and founder of this conclave, declare the first session of the Mathor-Selmiira, on the 11'th day Flamerule in the year 1377 of the Haunting.......for open."
"My friends, colleagues...Kin It pleases me that so many of you has chosen to answer my call for the clergy to unite in this forum of like minded.
True, we are clerics of different gods, but those are all the gods of the Seldarine. The gods of our people.
This simple truth, is what unites us, and it is what will be our greatest strength in the time to come."
I do not serve Her Grace the Coronal because I agree with everything she does...In fact there are many matters regarding our fair city where I personally would advocate a more...conservative approach."
"I serve Her Grace....because she IS the Coronal, by divine right bestowed upon Her Grace by our highest Lord Corellon himself.
It is what I believe! It is what I trust to be right! It is what Corellon wills!
I serve the office that is the Coronals...I serve the Realm, its people and thereby the Seldarine.
I do not hide the fact that I personally would see some things different, but nor do I hide the fact that I set aside theses matters..."
"...for the good of the Realm, and its people"
"As it stands, there is distrust, bickering and strife elf and elf between here in the city....Many of our cousins are more busy bickering about matters of who did what to this and that, than trying to settle matters in civil ways and more on.
Declaring their disgust and resentment with how things are handled.
Questioning the wisdom of Her Grace, the high council and other persons of note.
This is a path filled with danger my friends, and though many would argue that N'tel-quissir are mainly to blame for this pattern....I see just as many Tel-quissir carrying wood to this fire...."
"...a fire, that might well turn into a funeal-pyre if we...the guides of our people and link to the Seldarine...do not stand as one and act."
"So here we sit, a gathering of the combined wisdom of the Seldarine Clergy...all but a few have agreed to attend these gatherings...and those few who have refused...I can only pray they will see reason in the long run."
*stops as he reaches his chair again and looks over them, one hand on the table*
"So let us sit now, and talk. Let us bring issues into the light, that our combined knowledge might bring reason to solve them...
But this I will say...take care that we do not end up debateing petty crimes and cases of who did what to who...
We are here to offer guidance to the Council, for no voice of the Clergy speaks there theses days...
We must discuss matters in principal, in order to keep a bird-eyes view and not get tangled in the web of intrigues that seems to span the city these days... Let us...keep our wits about us and trust in the wisdom our beloved Seldarine has seen fit to grant us..."
"The Conclave is opened and ready for what matters its members deem worthy of our attention" | |

| The following is a draft from the session held in the wake of the "event" within the temple, involving the human woman Kira.
It is the Mathor Selmiira's stance that the following should be considered in regards to how visitors act within the Holy Temple of the Seldarine.
- Disrespect towards the Seldarine or its Clergy cannot be accepted.
- Weapons, if they MUST be carried into the temple, are to remain sheathed. Violence has no place in the Holy Halls. Only exception would be when ceremonial matters would require naked steel to be brought forth.
- It is the Mathor Selmiira's veiw, that a guard-branch of the Mathor Selmiira should be formed. The Ahk-Valar cannot be expected to remain on permanent guard within the temple halls at all times, and a guard sworn to protect the sanctecy of the Temple would insure that events like the one in question, will not occur again.
For this, The Mathor Selmiira calls upon Paladins of Corellon, Divine Champions and Anointed Knights of the Seldarine who would take up this task in the name of the Seldarine.
It is the Mathor Selmiiras wish that all are welcome in the halls of Our Gods, as long as proper conduct and manners are upheld.
Your humble Servant

| It is with great joy that the Mathor-Selmiira announces that the Honorable Baelnorn, Lady Kaharinthael Moonshire, on the 25 day of Eleasias in the year 1377 DR of the Haunting, upon suffering a defeat in a trial of combat to the skill-full hands of His Grace Lord Flar. Has agreed upon the proposal set down by Councilor Brenor.
Thus the Honorable Elder, who in ages past guarded another Seldarine Temple now lost to time, will reside within the sacred Halls of The Seldarine Temple, offering her wisdom, insight and indeed formidable martial arts to protect and safe-guard the Temple and those that comes to pay respect to the Gods of The people.
By Will of Her Grace the Coronal, the Mathor-Selmiira and its Templar-Knights have been tasked with seeing to Lady Moonshire's every need and general safety. A task we take upon us with humble praise to the Seldarine to indeed bless us thus.
The Clergy and its Knights stands ready to serve and to learn what manner of insight and wisdom, the Honorable Elder would wish to bestow upon us. In equal measure The Mathor-Selmiira stands ready to serve the honorable elder with knowledge of the present day and what small insight we mortals can offer the Honorable Elder in that regard.
We humbly welcome The Honorable Elder Lady Kaharinthael Moonshire to the City of Song and our ranks, and pray for all of the Seldarine to bless her eternal soul for the heavy burden she took upon her shoulders so very, very long ago, and still to this day carries with a zeal worthy of the Seldarine across the ages of time.
We praise His Grace, Lord Fflar for showing courage and skill in combat in the trial set down by the honorable Elder. Truely it was a battle between Titans, on a scale we shall not likely ever see again.
We praise the Akh-Valahr for, though perseverance and courage, completing the first part of the Ritual of the Moon, as set down by Her Divine Grace, Sehanine Moonbow. A task witch made initial contact with the Honorable Elder possible. May the light of the Seldarine shine down upon you and forever burn bright and true in your heart and souls.
Lastly we would name the honorable Elder Lady Moonshire, Revered Elder Guardian, to honor both the gift the Seldarine bestowed upon her so long ago, but all so to honor the Lady's agreement to aid The City of Song and its people.

| People of Myth Drannor, Allies and friends to The City of Song.
To those that would wish to speak with The Revered Elder Guardian, The Lady Moonshire, we humbly ask for some time to allow the Revered Elder Guardian to adjust to the city, and indeed the ways in witch we interact with those of you, not of The People. Ways that seems strange in the eyes of The Revered Elder Guardian.
On that matter, the following is a draft from the announcement made to the Mathor-Selmiira by me, Brenor Hastalion."My fellow Mathor-Selmiira members. As you have no doubt heard, yesterday a great honor was bestowed upon our conclave. The Baelnorn, Lady Kaharinthael Moonshire agreed upon the terms of a proposal I put forward. The terms as it where, was that if we, the people of the City could prove our worth in a trial by combat against her, she in turn would not only grant our people ................................................................ But all so she would remain here in our fair city, to serve and offer guidance to us, as is the sacred duty of the Honorable Elders that the Seldarine see fit to bless. By the courage of His Grace Lord Fflar, the Lady was indeed bested and thus has honored the deal and resides as I speak to you, here within these halls. The Revered Elder Guardian is ancient in a way we mortal elves cannot even begin to understand. Most great dragon-wyrm's would fall short in comparing their life-span to that of the Lady Moonshire. ............................................., she would indeed have seen empires, indeed mountains raise and fall over the vast eons that has passed since the Temple she swore to protect stood in what is now the Realm of Commathor. Understand that, when you address the Revered Elder Guardian, keep it in mind and respect it." "The task of guarding The Revered Elder Guardian should fall to our newly founded Templar-Knights, but indeed all of the Mathor Selmiira must aid in this task. Make her feel welcome in our sacred halls. If she ask questions of our ways, answer to the best of your abilities. Remember that though she is different both in mind and body, she is of the people and the Seldarine has granted her one of the highest honors there is." We ask for your patience and trust. We will work as fast as we can towards showing The Revered Elder Guardian why the ways of the old-realms in regards to those not of The People, has little merit in the present time.

| The Mathor-Selmiira has undergone a re-organization and consist now of two Templar-orders.
The Fellowship of the Forgotten Flowers: A Knightly order of Paladins, Clerics, Anointed-knights and Divine-Champions of the Seldarine save followers of Sehanine Moonbow.
The Moon Knights: A knightly order of Clerics, Anointed-knights and Divine-Champions of Sehanine Moonbow trained in the art of swordplay.
Both Orders are tasked with upholding the peace and order within the Seldarine Temple and recovering lost lore, artifacts and other cultural important material for the Elven people.
Sites sacred to The People will be sought out and guarded with vigilance and zeal in the name of The Seldarine.
The Mathor-Selmiira asks any followers of Sehanine Moonbow who meets the criteria to join the Moon Knights, that we might strengthen our numbers for the common good of the Realm and its people.
With the blessings of the Seldarine and promise to ever stand vigilant to guide and protect. The Mathor-Selmiira.

| *The old cleric spends much time in the temple, looking over old maps and long forgotten volumes of lore. Every now and then he leaves for the library to extend his research. At one point he scribles down a few words on a poster and heads, with long strides towards the announcement boards. Shortly after he returns and resumes his studies.* *the Poster reads*
The Mathor-Selmiira would encourage any members of the Divine-seeker order who follows the Seldarine, to contact Commander Brenor as soon as possible. At matter has come up that may require the skills of members of said order.
