A display of icy power.

A group of people walks toward the cold climbs near Castle Krag. They approaches the lone figure known as the Ice Witch, subtly surrounding her. A tense talk start out and it slowly worse. Within a short distance into the talk the Ice Witch temporary retreats into the Ethereal Plane while a druid turn into a Emberguard form. A gate opens to the Material plane as a monolith step forth at the bidding of the Ice Witch, and assault the druid in the Emberguard form. The two colossi hits each others, sending tiny bits of rock flying at each succesfull blows. The Ice Witch then murmur a arcane gesture as her body become blurred to the sight and multiply images of her stand surrounding her.

A ranger creep up on the preoccupied Ice Witch and slashes at her, hitting the wards she keep up while a few tiny flashes appear at the impact point as it drain the ward's strength, and cracking one of the images fully. She spin around in a snarls and quickly conjure up a ice shard and sent it flying toward the Ranger, hitting him just as he disappear out her sight. In the same moment another person wearing two weapon creeps on her other side and tries to use the moment to strike at vital point but while he get alot of stabs and swings in he mostly misses the blurred looking Ice Witch and ruin the mirror images instead.

Another Elf rushes the Ice Witch before she let out a angry scream and tap into her magic, a wave of energy shock out from her before the Elf is turned into a chicken and crushed on the spot. The Ice Witch then turn and dispell the Druid in the Emberguard form before the druid smack the Monolith and it crumbles into tiny stones, then the druid rushes the Ice Witch as the Ranger and the other male with weapons hit the Ice Witch once more, this time she give a grunt as her wards fall and blood fall on the white snow before she again enter the Ethereal plane and use the safety to reward herself.

She suddenly exit the Ethereal plane as powerfull cold is unlashed at the druid in the emberguard form who almost stagger back in a second before again pressing on at the Ice Witch. The Ranger and the male with two weapons join up in a combine effort, draining her wards strength again. The Ice Witch growing increasingly more angry and frustrated at the Ranger and the other male ability to disappear from sight and she tap into her innate power and hit the male with Fearie Fire, making him glow purple in the mist of chaos.

The Fight keep on and the people working together to hit the Ice Witch form three side, combining their skills and power as they slowly drain their enemy more and more. The Ice Witch begin to get slower and showing sign of tireness from the battle and the fast use of magic. She almost had the Druid in the Emberguard form fall to a knee in wounds before the Druid healed herself with a regeneration spell. Instead she focus all her anger and power toward the Ranger as two ice shards piece his body and he fall over. Another person among the group put in more effort and swing the huge sword at the Ice Witch.

After a short time a silence come over the area, no more sound of fighting. Ice glitters around the group as they look at the Fallen Ice Witch. They was victorious but the display of power they was fighting together was all clear. The group then leaved the area, minus one person. A ranger with wounds from cold and other weaken, tired and wounded. Though did they really defeat Ice Witch or will she return?

Maybe thats a question lingering in the survivors. All that left to tell sign of something happen at the spot is the ice glittering around and fire smoldering with ash and bone fragments.

\\oocly just want to say it was very very fun. Was my "first" pvp on the server, and with some tips and pointers, and a good attitude all around i thank you for the fun, and hope we can have some more ooc friendly battles in the future as our characters grow

On her way to Shadowdale she runs into Bendalar at the crossroads. she speaks to him in a sad tone and tells him that May needs his help while she sets the bag down and motions to the bag as she says May's name. He tells her that the cold would be a better place for her and they go back to the mountain together where he brings her back.

The snow carried along the wind on the mountain as Lily and Bendalar stands over the remains then Bendalar starts to prays before doing the rite of resurrection, within moment a new body take shapes out of the remains. A powerfull blessing for the Furies but a terrible curse for their enemies. As a groan escape the new body while ice and frost start to generate and cover the dark shaded skin of the Drow and as a cold surround her there is little to be said other then the Ice Witch breaths once more, once more her cold light red eyes will look upon the Dales.

After the battle Steffan spent some time being cut upon and healed through the divine powers of Ahralineil and Mara. Even with the healing the scars would remain where the now fallan Drow ice Witch had blasted his skin with the fury of cold.
