Tybold Mines...

The Ironhouse Clan is planning to attempt to collapse the Mines. We are looking for volunteers to aid us in this endevore. We need those skilled in magic to summon Earth Elementals, as well as those interested in defending the dwarf miners and spell casters.

This is a Ironhouse opperation and Valtore is in charge. If you can not accept that and follow orders as given don't offer your aid. If you wish to help us close down a major travel path of the drow please sign below.

Alex puts pen to paper and writes a letter. When he finishes it, he seals it in wax and hands it to a messenger to be delivered to the clan of Ironhouse.

Dear honorable Dwarves of Ironhouse,

It has come to our attention of the endeavor your clansmen plan to take to seal off Tybold Mines and to close one route to Underdark. Let us not be dishearten nor let us be fooled, that there multiple ways to come in out of Underdark, and that those who prey upon the surface from the darkness below knows these routes very well. Though sealing off the mines maybe a smart tactical move and will force those to use other routes out. I see this operation in no better hands than that of the clan of Ironhouse.

The church blesses your operation and will help with what we can. Most of our folk are simple farmers and merchant people, though some of them had friends and family that have suffered at the cruelty of the drow and orc that come from the depths. They may come to your aid to help you prevent others from suffering from the same fate.

Let Lathander smile upon you as you seal this route, and find the others that lay still hidden. May you be blessed for helping to protected those who cannot protect themselves. And may those who dwell in darkness find the light, and that they may change from their wicked ways and find peace.

Will need a DM to help with any NPC volunteers that wish to aid clan Ironhouse in their task.[u]

A plan is formed, It needs a number of people willing to defend the dwarves (4-6 people) then a number of people who can summon earth elementals (2-3) and either wands with Fireball or fire bombs.

The berserker Primra eagerly signs up for "defense" solely on the assumption there will be many drow to kill.

Aurye will let Valtore know she ll gladly support such a grand plan.

Arjay grows serious as he hears the plan, and nods to it. "Far be it from me to stand by when there are Drow to be fought. Summon your elementals, I'll help see to your defense."

Elijah pledges his support to the dwarves' noble cause.

"I will help defend the dwarves," says the monk to Valtore, cracking his knuckles and setting his fists ablaze in a shimmering aura of divine flames.

Aerul hears of the plan and sends a message to Valtore that hell help in any way he can.

The Event will take place at about 7pm (19:00) GMT +1 Thursday. So please check to see if you can be there. Those from MD and other places will gather outside the Mines themselves at that time. Once a DM is on we will head into them.
