Rumours of Szith-Morcane

The rumor has it, that Murgol of Clan Grimfell has taken a backseat in regards to ruling the clan. When and if he will return as a leader is unknown.

Some rumors say he did it as a wise precaution to save his own skin from assasinations, some say he just wanted to focus on other matters within the clan. Where the truth lies is unknown.

What IS known however is that Dunkill has taken or been given his seat, and will now speak as one half of the deciding seat of the clan in official matters...

No matter what it is certain that things are about to pick up speed and change is coming, as Dunkill seems to have more time to attend to clan matters, than the busy Murgol.

Val'afein can be seen wandering the Market place asking the merchants about a Zau'afin Quellar member that owes him money but seems to be hiding from him.

He offers a few gold pieces to any that might bring him anything of note around this member of Quellar Zau'afin.

Rumours slowly spread throughout Szith Morcaine that a certain fortunate duergar "land-pirate" has gained the increased favor of House Dhuurniv upon unearthing a long lost quellar-heirloom among some hidden treasures in the dangerous tomb of the infamous svirfneblin king "Grizzlegrazzle", aside from the item itself the land-pirate is said to have unearthed untold riches along with it and was last seen several days ago heading into the tunnels away from Quellar Dhuurniv with a wagonload of gold and gems, a bottle of rum in one hand and a smug smile across his face.

Yath abban Zath'a seeks to follow the 'land pirate' , as she never did fully trust him, somehow feeling that
He used her and the other paty members to clear the way , at risk of their lives , for him to get something he did not tell them about.
She is driven by both mistrust and the curiosity it brings ... as well as an offended pride of a Yath being used by a subrace this way. If she finds him, she would follow , able to cast invisible extended... Watching carefully...

The faern known as scourge is now wanted for questioning by the Yath.

Rumor begin's to spread:
The Ilharess of Qu'ellar Ischarri has been seeking the Illharess of Qu'ellar Dabel'kith, be it Mireli or Lilith, or whoever else is temporarily in said position, as none of the house members seem to be able to make it clear as to just who is truly in power.
The only responses that she has received is that the Ilharessen and Yath seek, but there has been no response to her queries

Rumors begin to run through the streets of Szith Morcane, through whispers in the shadows and open conversations alike. An incident had happened, The 20th cycle of Hammer.
A public whipping, the first to have been seen in quite some time, was held at the altar in front of the Inverted tower, Arach Tilinth, and Melee Magthere.

A newer arrival to the outpost, who had been consistently flirting with the barkeep Sei'na, was punished for defying the Ilharess of Ischarri. Presumably, according to some of the rumors, for not bringing her wine, when ordered. Others say it was because he broke the chain of command in a time when the defense of the outpost was needed.
Regardless, the blood has not yet been cleaned from the altar. Thirty nine lashes had been given, the last one, the fortieth, which may or may not have taken his life, was spared... Only to have Ilharess Ischarri salt his wounds and send him reeling into unconsciousness, and with the Ul'ath'tallar in attendance.

The talk of his screams echoing through the cavern, of her relentless strikes with the whip,  is, for some, chilling, for others, it is something to appreciate. From what they say... thirty nine lashes, salted, was the least of what she cared to do to any who dared defy her.

The outpost is littered with the signs of battle east of the plaza, all the way to the gate that leads to the mushroom forest. The shebali and rothe quarters are still cleaning the blood from the stones, clearing the bodies, mangled beyond repair or recognition, away. Among the bodies of drow and rothe are bones, rotting flesh and mangled remains.

The mood has become somber, talk of the Ischarri qu'el'saruk leading several shebali in the charge, along with the arcane guard and others into the fray with skeletons and zombies other such things of the Revanancer. Despite their valiance, duty... whatever reason they were fighting for, the forces were hard pressed to keep the undead from spilling fully into the outpost.


Oddly, rumors have come in that the guards east of the plaza were dead... before the attack actually started.

Word spreads swiftly. A bounty of 100,000 gold now rests upon a drow wizard's head. The name along with the bounty is Vlynva'dax. He is described to often be reading, absent minded, and forgetful. The order is rumored to come from the Ul'ath'tallar herself.

Rumors fly swiftly. Just the last end of the cycle, an assassin made an attempt upon Ilharess Ischarri's life.
For some time, the gates were sealed, and the outpost searched.
The assassin, however, is still absent, his job unfinished, and there seems to be a great many questions unanswered.
