Newcomers at the Travellers Star Empty
PostSubject: Newcomers at the Travellers Star   Newcomers at the Travellers Star EmptyThu May 30, 2013 8:06 am

A trio of foreigners arrived at the Travellers Star outside Myth Drannor recently, and although they lacked in the most basic knowledge of the region or even its inhabitants, they'd already made themselves at home. Word has it they are looking to meet with the Keeper, and even 'her Grace', whenever possible, about matters of 'great import'.

Apart from that, local hearsay believes these three are here on some sort of quest, though they haven't openly declared anything to the Elves or refugees yet.

Among the three is a Dwarven enchanter, a Human wizard and priestess, the first two spending much of their time pouring over books in the inn, whilst the priestess is seen wandering the area, speaking with guards, refugees and just about anyone she comes by.

What their purpose here is up to speculation though.

Later in that day after hear from a guard about the trio, the Keeper would find some time to meet with them. Cautious as ever he is protected by some of his usual magical wards, but none visible to the naked unprepared eye. The sun elf meets them with a polite grin.

- Welcome to Myth Drannor, I am Nadin Moonbolt, the Keeper. I am sorry our grace will not be avaiable to meet you, but I'm curious to know what brought you to our fair city of songs, and hope to clarify your doubts.

After the meeting took place between the three, some days afterwards with a variety of Myth Drannors notables, they seem to be a lot busier than before.

The wizard could be seen pottering between his room in the Travellers Star and the mage shop, forgoing his frequent visits to the library. He seemed rather focused and contemplative, and he didn't speak to anyone really unless it was a guard or similar figure of authority.

The Dwarf, well he didn't leave the library at any normal hour. The area he'd seemed to have claimed in the library steadily filled with more and more books; apparently he was an avid reader. He was somewhat talkative, though tried to hide whatever he was reading about when someone approached (unless of course they were those at the meeting, or a guard).

Finally the priestess, seemed to have left the city. Though it was fairly common knowledge, being the more talkative of the three, that she'd taken the boat to Rimwood and was staying there in the camp for now.

To all though, it seems that these three were staying put, for whatever reasons. What their coming could be about, or their stay could be for, is up to speculation.

Head Master Blue Mage would go to the library from time to time and try to speak with the dwarf if he could saying how are you do you need help with anything? but leaving soon after if he got no reply at the time.. he would head to the mage shop picking up supplies and often go to the bar to slowly salvage his secret stash of self brewed wine and whiskey and tea leaving the odd two or three of each behind for his use later should he need.. in both he would occasionaly see the wizard come and go and would speak to him saying hello how are you? if he gets no reply still he would head out of town to gather ingrediants or supplies of a different kind through out the areas every now and then wondering as far as the beastmen and the old now gone inn picking up random seeds newly fallen and after filling a bag he would cast a spell over it putting the seeds in a stasis mode he would see the priestess on occasion as well as a few travelers in an out of the region.. he would stop and talk to her when he could and port the seeds back to his holding area for the stuff in myth drannor.. he would turn and ask her how she was if she was lost and so forth.. he would be gauging them for trust worthyness and info to put his mind at ease.. but never directly says anything or even hints at such is the reason.. so he tries to get to know them and introduces himself as Blue Mage to each and repeats the question can i help with anything?
