The Acadamies of Szith Morcane

The Academies of the Drow Outpost Szith-Morcane are now formally accepting applicants.

To apply, please send DM FOE or ADM Augustus or DM Iribaar a tell ig or send them a forum PM. You may also post below as a placeholder but please do so In Character. Education, tasks, tests, trials, and advancement will be conducted whenever possible. The requirements for applying to each school are listed below.


ARACH-TINILITH - Temple of Lloth and academy for Yathrin
Requirements:
-Drow
-Female (although males may receive instruction and the benefits therein)
-Divine casting for high level advancement (Favored Souls and other divine spellcasters can join and rise in rank but only clerics will reach the highest levels of Arach-Tinilith)
-Must worship Lolth
There is ZERO room for heretics in this school. You must worship Lolth and QUITE fervently


SORCERE - Academy of Wizardry
Requirements:
-Drow
-Any gender
-Sorcerer or Wizard levels or some manner of casting skill or interest in magic lore
-The ability to contribute to research in a meaningful way.
Only wizards and sorcerers will reach the highest levels of Sorcere but whomever can contribute will be rewarded appropriately. Warlocks, Bards, PCs with a high Spellcraft skill and other casters will be included but have less magical versatility and so less opportunity for advancement.
RANKS:

MELEE-MAGTHERE - Academy of Warfare
Requirements:
-Drow
-Any gender
-An ability to fight.
Any class combination is allowed to apply and advance within Melee-Magthere, all that matters is the ability to win in combat by any means.

RANKS:

Vel'Xundussa Magthere - Royal Drow Security Institute ("VDVM")
-More information to be forthcoming but this will be open to most people and will be a place for
 assassins and rogues to also ply their skills. It is not an official part of the academy.

-Students (lvl 18 or under, can can use a weapon or hurt things somehow with physical voilence)

Much like bards, Hexblades are a combination of fighters and arcanists so they would likely do some of their training in the magterre and some of their training in the sorcere, the way you earn ranks in the sorcere is by becomming an apprentice of one of the higher ups and impressing them enough to allow you to rise through the ranks, there are 3-4 leaders of the sorcere and the structure is more or less like this:

Archmage (NPC) - I have never actually seen him and I do not think he takes on apprentices although he may at times do some lectures and lessons at the sorcere.

The day to day masters of the sorcere that I know about in no particular order:
The Quel'faruk of House Dabel'kith - Elvlyn Dabel'kith (playercharacter)
The Quel'faruk of House Zau'afin - ? (playercharacter)
The Quel'faruk of House Dhuurniv (NPC)

Faerns
Beneath the masters are the full faerns who may also at times take on apprentices and train them until a master is needed to complete their training, only a master or the archmage can make someone a full faern in the public eye.

Instructors
Beneath the full faerns are the instructors - there is an NPC instructor in the sorcere - the essence dude.

Apprentices
Beneath the instructors are the apprentices.

-You regularly rp doing one or more of the following things:
-------You are ANY CLASS and bring bounties to Melee-Magrethe
-------You are a Lolthite priestess and do the Yath answers quest
-------You are a person who can use arcane magic or is involved in magical research in Sorcere
-You specify the amount of time you spend at the academy school in question, namely please distinguish in your post if you train there and use it as a resource for the garrisons and apparent furthering of the Outposts goals as well as your own(people garrisoning Szith fall into this category), or you actually mean to be a Teaching Master at the academy, which will have separate responsibilities and more complicated allegiances.
