Help in need is help indeed

In attempt to help out three adventurers to increase their fortune on their journey to Fox Ridge, Cornelius found his inventory of health kits and potions being put to better use in the Temple of Chauntea courtesy of temple maiden Valerie and high priestess Julia. It was not was he was expecting, but he felt good knowing his health kits would go to the needy. After a long conservation with the priestess and a tour of the facility, Cornelius caught with the three adventurers at Fox Ridge to join them on a raid in the Gnoll Caverns. There, the four of them vanquished the demonic breed and rescue the Dryad.

Another day of patrolling and arresting kobolds down in the mines, Cornelius takes time to talk to a few friends by the fire. Later, he places more healing kits at the altar within the House of Plenty. As he tours the temple, he can hear voice coming from the guest area of the temple. He finds the door cracked open just a tad. He enters the room to find Julia Navarre and Garren Smolder in a private discussion.

Embarrassed, Cornelius excuse himself, but not before letting the head priestess know, he has dropped off more kits and rations at altar.

*The High Harvestmistress makes sure the kits and supplies will reach the farmers' families, when the Clergy goes to the fields everyday, to help in the final stages of the next harvest before the coming winter. The crops were sowed later this year because of the Zhentarim offences and the harvest will be delayed as much as possible to give time for the out of season crops to grow.*
