The Spider That Waits

The Heavy thuds of plate could be heard echoing down an alley of Szith-Morcane, a lone figure emerging from a perpetual darkness with two gleaming silver eyes. A trio of Greatswords rest horizontally on the bulky figures lower back, all possessing their own unique enchantments.

A Strong, calloused hand, holds up an antique wooden pipe in which the figure draws from. The Acrid smell of Devilweed strong about this one as the white cloud expells across the barreled plate chest the humanoid was wearing.

A voice, resounding of masculinity follows the cloud after the deep exhale. Holding with it the pang of insanity only one of His could contain.

Only a single word is spoken as a long sheepish grin spreads across the battle scarred ebony skin of a face.

" Selvetarm. "

Old spider webbing tattoos burn white hot against oblivion.

A tiny Jalil dressed in a black tunic/half robe with a large backpack would watch as the lone male enters the city gates, herself having just returned from a trade trip, watching him walk in, and seeing those blades, her dark purples eyes scan across his features and armor before a polite nod was offered in his direction.

The Yath'abban May talks with the merchant as she sees Selvetarm.  With a curt nod she goes back to speaking to the merchant.

The Older Male can be seen over the next few cycles speaking with the Weapon Master of Qu'ellar Zau'Afin in a rather casual and almost friendly demeanor, leading to the assumption that the two veteran warriors may perhaps know one another.

Following a few meetings, the Older Male can be seen speaking with a few of the cities residents, walking the streets to grow accustomed with the vast caverns layout along with identifying landmarks for future references.

A keen-eyed observer may also note the following things:

*He's taken out a few of the current residents on patrols.

*He habitually wards himself, even when within city limits. This reasoning is unknown.

*Those who can sense magic can detect that he almost glows like a small sun, confirming heavily enchanted equipment.

*The Male spends most of his time standing in front of Arach-Tinilith. Just outside of the red circle that surrounds the Altar. Vigilantly watching the Altar with barely any movement, as if waiting.
