Rumor starts to spread among villagers and travelers alike, they all speak of what can only be thought of as a ghost. They say that in the dead of night a dark figure appears and disappears into the darkness. At times the figure seems to almost brush past the villagers, yet oddly enough none can report hearing anything as the figure moves. The villagers that have been around for some time start to whisper among themselves, their talk of one thing specific...

Soon further rumors emerge making the masked being out to be more than mortal, claims occur of seeing the shrouded mask in multiple locations at the same time, its haunting gaze flashing but for a moment before fading away. Perhaps the rumors are nothing more than simple claims but to those that dare look into it, it seems more and more likely that the murmurs of the phantom are all quite real.
