RP Thread: Teken'viir makes it's move.

Forced into moving more openly and much sooner than anticipated by recent events, Yath'abban Nhileari has not been idle, nor have her brothers and sisters in the cause of establishing a new Qu'ellar. Gathering to her all those currently present in the outpost that have sworn loyalty to the house, she and her comrades march upon the altar at the center of Szith's Tier Breche. Upon arriving she would instruct all those with her to kneel before the altar in prayer, standing herself at the head of the procession with her arms folded and a steely glint in her eyes.

She would wait there until a member of the Yath is sent out to question her purpose there. True to her typical behaviour she would smile sardonically and answer:
"Since certain vaunted members among our kind seek to question the authenticity and values of me and mine, Teken'viir has gathered here to request acknowledgement of our existence, and swear fealty to the Ul'ath'taller and the Yath, for we are first and foremost, the faithful daughters and sons of our queen, and it is our purpose to see her will done above all else."

So saying she would resume staring up at the likeness of Lolth looking out upon the square, calm, detached, almost serene in her confidence.

Anthax Dabel'kith is in the square and makes a mental note of all of those present.

He later returns to the embassy and makes a written report on the names (if known to him) or descriptions of those present with the yath'abban

Chagrin is present.  For all those that have known, the once-apprentice now-one-eyed-Faern has held a rather strict and unwavering loyalty to Nhileari since his earlier time in Szith.  It should not be a surprise to see him present now.

Evallyn stands present, the Teken'viir insignia pinned to the collar of her armor and embroidered on her quiver.

Demo'loth Zau'Afin stands off to the side, observing the gathering.

"Just wait for the Heresy claims to start... old bothersome tactics of slander leading to the unfortunate death of its accusers..." The Male chuckles.

Daristina, the aasimar slave, kneels respectfully at Chagrin's side. The insignia of Teken'viir is pinned to her robes.

Yathrin Tryssdra stands in silence beside Nhileari, a pin bearing the insignia of House Teken'viir affixed to her ceremonial garb. When the Ulath'tallar's servants come to take note of those present, she extends an open invitation to the arch-priestess to discuss the Yath's expectations for the House.

Uspir would also be there, badge on robe and before joinning the rest of her house she would stop by the alter from the Scorceree and offer up a private prayer before walking over to her familiy and nodding to them. "I notice how you all are, within a lovely tightly packed collected blob, perfect for fireballing.." she would say with a faint smirk." Then again, I think its say to say most here are either immune or can dodge out of the way"

Looking around she would hold up her staff and say. "Power is never given, it is Taken, Status is earned though Bloodshed and fear, respect from manipulation, a body count and the terror of Lolth they are able to bring to their foes.

We are House Teken'viir, will be living up to our name in the cycles to come, Delvers in Domination, Join us. Lolth Tul Malla..."

So I know there is a lot of lore discussing the emergence of a new qu'ellar in the lore, and when possible I absolutely plan on using and applying it (ruling council acceptance etc). But in the meantime there are only three qu'ellars (two of them PC run the other is Dhuurniv) and so it will be a bit more informal and mostly be based off of the Ul'Lath'Tellar's decision. Also since you are absolutely free to form a guild under the server rules that is yours to do. As for the formal acceptance to a council I am still reviewing a few things. But just for the sake of rp we need to go through the lore channel.



So the Ul'Lath'tellar wants to know if each house approves before you ask her (talk to DK and Zau, I will handle Dhuurniv if you get a message to them (rp it on forum in a pm to me if you like) Also buttering up the Ul'lath'tellar wouldn't hurt. Approval from the other houses will GREATLY speed up the process.



In the meantime you can consider that the VDVM is likely keeping a VERY close eye on your members and so to be on your best behavior because the events leading up to the emergence of a qu'ellar typically define their career so this is an important time! And have fun wit it!
