Arkerym Starspell nods and salutes at Nadin's orders: "As you wish, keeper. We will be ready to depart soon!"

Nadin checks everything and once all things are prepared he would offer a brief speech to the Akh'Velahr

- Akh'Velahr, you who valiantly fought the crusade side by side with the brave dalesmen, we are returning to Myth Drannor but we have no reason to be ashamed. Our Grace extended a helpfull hand to keep Shadowdale safe, as one of our most important alies in Cormanthor, the only thing we asked and could not be diferent, was to renew the dales compact... But Shadowdale government changed, and they dont believe in the compact anymore so they dont want us as close allies any longer and we are no more welcomed.
Maybe in future this will change, but for now the Shadowdale of the books, the first dale to join the crusade, the one we were accustomed, this Shadowdale now is past. We can only hope for the best, for the innocents here that we can't help anymore.
We are returning and there is still much to be done, the war is far from an end, so we march back to face the enemy elsewhere. For Myth Drannor, for Our Grace, bearer of Ar'Cor'Kerym, for Arms Major Traar Audark, bearer of Ary'Velahr'Kerym, for the Dales Compact and the alliance of all good races, we now march.

the gathered hundreds of Akh´Velahr soldiers Salute their Keeper... and shout back in unison "For Myth Drannor, for the Coronal!"
The atmosphere is solemn and everyone can feel the tension in the air.

With the Keeper at their head, the hundreds of elves, that have stood watch over shadowdale for months, now head back into the Cormanthor forest...

Some of them look back with a look of regret and compassion, some dont spare the town another look at all, looking forward with a grim determined look on their faces.

Rows upon rows of brave Akh´Velahr soldiers, their armors polished, their bows strung.. The Robes of the Akh´Faern wizards fluttering in the wind, move on. the Warpriests of Corellon sing solemn praises to the Seldarine as the small army sets off to march home.




and with that.... the elves are gone from the Dale of Shadow.

As the elves leave Azzelas leans on the wall smoking cigar. Wether its a cigar of joy or one of indifference is not appearent.
