My'manir Visits the Temple of Lathander

Imesah comes out some time thereafter and offers a bow.

"Greetings, I have heard you are looking for a library here? I must apologize, but we don't have much of a library -- prayer books mostly. Most of our writings were lost when we were driven out. What were you looking to learn?"

She nods gravely, "I'm afraid that we no longer have any such books. I could, of course, ask for some books to be brought here from elsewhere if you like? They may not arrive in time for what you need them for however, or at all. You have searched your own libraries I presume?"

She nods. "Others perform research about them at different places, there is really little else your people can do to help us with this undead threat? No experts in the subject amongst your people?"

"The Mornmaster may know better than I. I am no scholar in these matters, though I do know some things, enough to get me by as-it-were. As to the details of these specific threats, I likely couldn't tell you more than you already know. Cleophus also might have known more than I, but he is disposed of at the moment. Unfortunately, we do not many of the learned amongst our numbers."

She offers a smile

"If you tell me what you are looking to know, I will ask around. I'm sure someone knows more than I. As you say: We have a few tricks up our sleeve. When the time comes to fight, we will be ready."

She nods and then explains, always in a hushed tone as to not instigate fear and worry on the others that visit the temple. "We're talking about necromantic spells that seem to completely eradicate large areas from all living form, be it vegetation, animal or anyone or anything that might have been present in the area when performed. We observed that those killed in the area rise as undead afterwards and they become increasingly more powerful as the night falls. However they only persist for a certain time before the area clears, however the damage to the land persists, we have lost many large spots in the forest by now"

Lucent would enter the temple without nodding to anyone and would stand there unmoving and pale, arms left down his sides, looking at Imesah silently.

"Yes, I have heard of such things. Some form of desecration, yes? I have thought about whether the Dawnstone could be used in some way to counter this magic; I am hopeful that it could help. As for other counters to such, I am sorry to say I know little of it. I am no priest."

She looks toward Jay and says quietly, "Would that Cleophus were here. Hmm, well I will see what I can find out."

With that, she walks over to Jay and gives him a hug if he allows.

As she makes to leave, Imesah turns back towards her. "My apologies, Lathander light your path and guide you to the wisdom you seek"

She then continues on to give Jay the aforementioned hug.

Lucent would stand still unmoving as Imesah hugs him, looking beyond her shoulders. When the two are once again in front of each other, he would simply look at her while speaking: "Tell the elders" gesturing towards the altar for a moment "they either help me bring him back or catch the culprit".
