Visitor Imprisoned in the Yath

In the last cycle Maya'taen Dabel'kith returned to the city with a human in tow. After speaking briefly with him by the gate she had him interred within the cells of the Yath, awaiting their judgement upon what to do with him.

She leaves a report for the yath

The prisoner would wait further briefing on his situation.

*Adinara meticulously prepares her poisons, tortureinstruments and summoning kit in case she is called upon to interrogate the prisoner.*

Returning from another long trip through the deeper tunnels and the surface lands above, Yath'rin Nhileari would receive a copy of the report upon arrival at the Arach-Tinilith, much to her annoyance.
"Oh the joys of paperwork" she would muse to herself.
Reading over the document with a frown the priestess grows steadily more irate and would clench her jaw, neatly fold the printed words, and stride towards the cells without a word to anyone else.

A short time later, the hall in which the cells are located would echo with the heavy tread of plate clad boots and a growing sense of foreboding and despair permeates the room. For the prisoner in question the effect is applied in full as its source approaches to stand before his door, a strongly built drowess clad in dark armour, her features hidden behind a cowl. Silence would reign for a span of ten minutes as he is studied critically, the woman no doubt letting him stew in the uncertainty and tension of the moment before she unfolds the report once more, briefly looking over it.

"So... 'Alex'. We meet again..."

Wearing cloth clothing and his boots Alex would remain in the cell still waiting.
Apon hearing the clanking of the boots booming sound throughout the location he would look to the entrance. as the woman approaches the Cell door he would stand but keeping his head lowered. Until he is spoken to he would remain silent.
Yes.. well... I couldn't stay away... Ive offered my skills to the priestess who excorted me here and locked me away. Ive only heard of the Drow Mass Citys.. I suppose you are hear wondering why I am here once more...

A short, sharp exhalation of breath from beneath the cowl and she speaks once more, her tone indicating some small amusement, heavily laced with condescension.

"I see you have not lost your sense of humor. Very important in situations such as yours. Good... Good... And yes, you might say I am curious as to your purpose, and what 'skills' you mean to offer. Especially after you know first hand how we tend to deal with unannounced visitors."

After watching the commotion he would answer the priestess.

Apologies for the intrusion, it was not my intent to be escorted here. My being back down here isn't my duing either. . . I was cast down banished from the surface. As for my offered skills, I am an expert in appraising merchandise, I have tools to get into any locks and recover and disable almost any trap with ease. I am fairly decent with a blade and can cast minor enchantments. Im sure im limited options here among the mighty drow so, tell me. . . what is to be done with me are these skills not enough to keep ones life among thee?

Used to the comings and goings of the Arach, she wouldn't have even changed the focus of her attention during the removal of the other prisoner. Instead she listens to 'Alex' when he speaks once more, lightly tapping her foot against the stones in either thought, or impatience.

"What is to be done with you hinges solely on my satisfaction with your story, and whether I deem you to be worth the trouble of allowing you to live. Now... this banishment. I want you to tell me why, and how you came to find yourself in this situation. From the start, leave nothing out, no matter how inconsequential you may think it."

Well. . . where should I begian. *after a very brief moment* There is a man that runs a keep on the surface that goes by the name of Cruvan. Him and I do not see eye to eye on most subjects including alliences with underdark races such as yourself. I took a job from one of your fellow ken, though I do not know his rank he had asked for the Blue Elf's capture, in return he would speak with his superiors about a slight alliance. As you can tell I do not have the blue elf unfortunitly. She is a slippery foe and adored by quite a bit so it is rare to find her a lone. On the day I chose to initiate my capture she was occompanied by the man I spoke of earlier. Though the blue elf druidess was unable to even leave me a scratch. Cruven on the other hand is a bit much for me to take the both of them and was captured. After months of being in jail he had returned with his torturer to get information out of me. I had told him of my job I had received and why I attacked the crazed druidess. Not only has she defiled "Your" Lands she has also done the same to mine. I was cast down to the underdark bound and gagged. All my belongings and my crew remain on the surface.

I however. I'm not one to beg for my life, I have some unfinished business. Perhaps there is something this one can do for you to be abled to fufill my dutys. Besides, There will be less surfacers when im done. *he would give her a devilish grin slightly as he waits her response*

Her lips press into a thin line as she listens to tale the man spins for her in silence. She gives no indication of her thoughts one way or the other, though there is a slight narrowing of her eyes at the mention of his supposed mercenary work for one of her kin.

"Your story is an interesting one, though I question whether it is a work of fact or fiction. You have already proven duplicitous when you denied having dealt with our kind before upon being escorted here. You might have found circumstances much more in your favour had you been more forthcoming..."

She lapses into silence for a time before stepping closer to the cell door, expression set in a steely eyed scowl

"I want the name of this drow who hired you. Failing that a description."

I do not with to waste more time, what I tell you is facts alone. The male gave no name but identification of his cloak of red. He had stated it was his house colors. He also stated that he was a renown enchanter of the underdark.

I must express although, I could have escaped but I doubt my intentions for the future wouldn't be possible.

A slight smirk forms at the corner of her lips at that, and she gives a curt nod.

"Very well, you will remain here while it is decided what shall be done with you. You may be called upon for further questioning yet, I would advise you try to avoid any further attempts at deception."

With that the priestess turns on her heel and strides off into the innermost parts of the temple complex, her footsteps soon fading from hearing.

Returning sometime later, Yathrin Nhileari would clear her throat to draw Alex's attention before speaking.

"Very well, I have spoken with the others and we wish to hear your terms. What would you seek of us, and what would you offer us in return should we agree to cooperate, or perhaps more? I would suggest your proposal be a generous and enticing one."

My wish's are simple, I wish to travel the caverns with minimal disturbance to your incredible city. In return, if there is ever a need. I would be willing to assist in anything you see fit. Disregarding torture.
As I said, I am a man of many talents.

Tuts quietly, lapsing into silence for a time as she considers her response on the matter, before she nods.

"Very well... You, and only you will be permitted to travel our tunnels. If you wish to bring others along with you, we expect to be notified ahead of time so we can decide if this is acceptable. Furthermore, we reserve the right to rescind this permit of travel at any time. You will not be allowed to enter Szith-Morcane, except under escort, but you are free to come and go from Sschyndylryn as you please. In return, you will carry out certain tasks that we might ask of you, no matter how distasteful. Is this agreeable? Oh, and I should also warn you..."

She smirks, with no small amount of grim amusement.

"This agreement only extends between myself, and certain other interested individuals. You would do well to avoid notice where possible, and show respect otherwise. Should the militia or another Yathrin decide to detain, or put an end to you, you will have little protection from me."

His head bowed in respect.Yes, thank you for your hospitality, I do hope this agreement goes well in both our favors, for I would hate to have such a grim end as I know it would be. Which ever services you seek I shall fulfill.

She nods at that, a satisfied gleam in her eyes

"Very well. I will return shortly with any of your belongings we may have seized, and escort you out of the city. Arrange a means by which we may contact you in Sschyndlyryn, we will have a task for you soon enough."

She gives him a stern look, one laden with promise before turning to put everything in order before his release, adding a few parting words.

"See that this is a decision I don't regret."
