PostSubject: The Fancy Gnome   The Fancy Gnome EmptyTue Jul 29, 2014 3:43 am

A ginger haired Rock Gnome with a feathered hat and a large Gnome sized backpack is seen coming in and out of the Shadowdale merchants with planks of wood, and various tools such as hammers with nails. Outside of the Shadowdale merchants store, and among the various farmers stands he seems to be making his own lemonade-stand style shop and he works quietly on it all day with a face of immense concentration and determination!

A few of the townspeople look at him as if he's nuts. Some of them mutter about what odds and ends he may be selling. One child tries his best to sneak around and put a thunderstone under the stand and run away before it explodes.

Approaching the gnome, she would raise an eyebrow, looking both impressed yet puzzled to what the gnome wished to accomplish. Within earshot range she would softly ask to him*Ahem* Excuse me, may I be so bold as to ask, what you are selling?

Shahnaz approaches the farmers stall outside the General Store and displays her signpost advertising her services as usual, watching the gnome in the construction of his stand. She observes his behaviour, interactions with others and attempts to see what stock he is placing in it. She seems unusually fascinated with appearance of a new merchant.

Noting one of a rarely-seen race of gnomes on the surface, Eleiryanna approaches the stand. Her eyes keen like any of the Tel'Quessir, she spots the child's antics, and attempts to gently-but-firmly hold him back by his shoulders, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. "Now now, little one..."

(( Apologies for the late reply, an emergency popped up! ))

Throughout the day the Gnome continued to build his stall in peace, with the face of determination and concentration never leaving his expression. He took note of Shahnaz's services and seemed grateful, although he didn't seem like it for long as he quickly went back to task.

As Sophia spoke to the Gnome, he continued to build his shop. Without taking his eyes off the task he replies with: "Well... I be sellin' all sortsa' stuff. Shineh' stuff, heavy stuff, pretty stuff..." He turned around with a grin and a wink and then went back to task.

As the sun began to set he had finally finished on his stall. With bent nails in the wood, and uneven measurements it wasn't the best stall around. Though he had yet to decorate the stall with his wares.  At the top, in black paint, the stall from this day on was appropriately dubbed...

Hewlett's Gems and other stuff...

He then finished the day with a pint in the Winchester Old Skull...

Smiling she would cant her head to look at the sign, then asks"Well, I will stop by again when you are open for business, but perhaps before that you should speak to the Elders about opening a stall. I do not wish to be a downer but speak with them first to avoid any problems."

The next day the Gnome returned to his empty stall and began to decorate it with his stock. There was jewelry such as amulets, rings and the such alongside the more fancy-like chalices and goblets. All of these items were hardly worth much, as most of the stuff just seemed to be mundane. Later in the day he began to write up a note which he later nailed onto his stall.

Adventurers Wanted
((Levels 1 - 10))

I need a group of daring adventurers to retrieve a
not-so-holy-grail for me.

The quest will be dangerous, and if you can't fight
then you're buggered. -BUT- the pay will be mighty fine,
so make sure you can bloody well fight.

Talk to the dashingly handsome ginger hair Gnome who runs the stall for more information.

(( PM ADM_Vanilla with your character name and level, alongside a time (including the timezone) which works well for you. I'm aiming for around (Either this, next or the week after that) Saturday/Sunday/Monday. If you can't make either of these days then include any other day which works for you too!))

Bryanna frowns reading the words "not-so-holy" and heads to the gnome's stall the next time he is there.

"Sir, Can I ask about this grail you seek?"

((I understand I can't participate int he event, but you know.. paladins.))
