Gathering of Recruits

A younger man known as Vorik, the new militia commander could be seen pinning a notice on the town board.

"All those keen on signing on with the Shadowdale militia are to muster at the new training square near the northern wall in two days. Queries can be penned to Vorik and delivered to the offices.

- Commander Vorik"

((This will be run on Wednesday the 6th at 5:30ish PM PST))

Tacked up at the bottom of Vorik's note is another:

"for any of them queries that have slander, you can pen it to Room 1, Old Skull, and be real legible with your name."

At the bottom, instead of a signature, there is a circular black smudge where a few threads of brown fiber cling. Beneath the smudge, one might see that the paper is charred slightly and carries the distinct odor of burnt tobacco.
