The Bladerite ritual was Held.. many citizens from Myth Drannor gathered around the Tree of Soul to bear witness to grand ceremony.
The Coronal, along with serveral nobles of her court, her prince-consort Fflar Starbrow, the High Priestess of the Temple of the Seldarine, the High Mage as well as the Keeper of Myth Drannor Nadin Moonbolt and Councilor Cathlemet were gathered as witnesses as well.
The Coronal offered the high honor of leading the ritual to Lady Moonshire, the ancient and rarely seen moonelven Baelnorn residing inside the Temple of the Seldarine.
Seven brave souls stepped forward to be tested by the blade. The Lady Moonshire anounced that it was a great honor to touch and be judged by the blade.
The first, a sun elf named Inthariel Linthor from Everska, tried to draw the blade. The resulting backlash from the blade, that flew out of its scabbard and deliver a serious blow to his shoulder, killed the Young elf to the astonishment of all onlookers. His body was carried to the Temple of the Seldarine by the present Priests.
Next, a brave Akh´Velahr Paladin named Celedien Alean'lylth, wearing the cloak of a Mathor, stepped forward. Even such a pure soul as she was not deemed fit to wield the blade for some reason.
The third to step forward, another sun elf, named Keltanir Nanta'mor'ess but like the elf before him, was struck by the blade, though he survived the blow.
The fourth in line was another Akh´Velahr, a Tael named Amilmawiel, tried to wield the blade and failed as well.
Then another proud sun elf, Therindahar from Evermeet, drew the blade, only to be rejected as well.
The crowd was worried that the blade would not accept any wielder at all that day, when finally the great hero Fflar Starbrow stepped forward to lay claim on the blade.
But to the great astonishment of the onlookers the blade rejected this great hero as well.
Fflar, totally devasteted by his failure to draw the blade, where almost everyone expected him to succeed, withdrew to the Temple of the Seldarine, as the Coronal watched him leave, tears streaming down her face.
The last one to step forward was the wild elf, Lord Traar Audark, he succeeded in drawing the blade were all others failed before him and was named Arms Major by the Coronal.
The Coronal then left very soon, ascending the hill of the Temple of the Seldarine while the onlookers cheered the new hero of the City.
