I am leaving Dalelands Beyond as I did once before and for almost the same reasons.

I see the same lack of transparency, the strict disciplinary action and the seemingly random bans as has always been the problem around here. I was hoping it would be different this time around and I have been playing nicely until now.

This is of course a subjective opinion and staff and others are welcome to think what they want.

I'm being forum banned for not being willing to change my forum name into something the staff deems appropriate, so this is the last you will hear from me.

You are not being banned. We offered to change your account name and keep the account intact, you opted to delete it.

If you rather not remake an account, you may still have the option to simply change the name.

And for further proof. I explicitly asked if you wanted to change or delete the account.

The same was the case for a person who got "temp" banned from the server because an established player cried about getting beat in pvp. When we then asked for the logs proving there was cheating involved all we could hear was crickets.

I told you, Cloudkill might not make some of the staff happy. They would see it as mocking them over the exploit thread that you were involved in. I suggested another name because you originally said your name was based on the song 99 red ballons...99redbaboons was a play on that song.

however. It is not against the rules to have the name Cloudkill. If you want it that badly, then you can have it. I was trying to warn you about it, not prohibit you. I'm sorry if you took it as blacklisting any names you wanted.
