Ivaris and Vieri are seen entering town with two men and one woman in tow. The woman has her knee bandaged, one of the men has a bandage wrapped around his torso, the other seems to be in fairly good condition with only minor injuries. Ivaris also carries the body of a deceased man on his shoulder. He approaches the guards and relates his story.
He tells the guards of a woman who was attacked by bandits, her husband stayed behind to defend her. Upon arriving at the scene, the Gray Scale mercenaries were seen looting the body of the husband. When further questioned about the event it became apparent that the mercenaries in question had, in fact, murdered the man. Ivaris had given them the chance to yield and come quietly. One of their own lunged towards Ivaris in an attempt to kill him. The mercenaries killed him and offered his death as a token of peace to pacify Ivaris to cease and desist on the matter. Upon refusing this offering they attempted to leave the scene. It was at this point Vieri opened fire and shot the female commander in the knee. One of the others tried to flee and Vieri caught him in the back with another crossbow bolt. The third man yielded and no further violence ensued. Ivaris treated the wounded, gathered them up, and lead them into town. The wife was witness to the attackers so her testimony should corroborate the story of their assault by these mercenaries.
He would then take the deceased man to the temple and attempt to bring the woman's husband back from the dead as Vieri sought to find the wife and lead her back into town.
