Note On The Board

A small child runs up to the public board, standing on her tiptoes in order to try to tack up a note. Finally, she manages, the note being pretty low on the board but at least visible. She then goes back off to spend time in the House of the Moonmaiden in the classroom.

The note reads:

In one day's time, I will be coming to retrieve what is mine in exchange for what is yours. If there are any tricks, I assure you, you will regret it immensely. Eye for an eye. Remember that when you're handling what is mine.

((This is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday the 9th at 7:00PM PST))

On his way to visit the remaining Kelemvorites in town, Milo would stop with an amused smile as he sees the child succeed. He'd then sate his curiosity about the note and his smile turns to a worried frown.

"Rather ominous note to be left by a child..." he says, thinking out loud.

((is it a child's handwriting?))

Lady Corvain reads the message, then asks the nearest guard to find and inform Sordoc about it quickly.

((won't be there, 7pm pst will be 4am in the night for me ))

Malkaris glances at the board, in curiosity more than anything else. He watches the girl scamper off before flicking the paper with his index finger to get a better look. After reading it, He returns to his spot at the camp fire.

"Xyrmoria...." Jerrek would say upon reading the note, all but spitting the name out as if it left a bad taste in his mouth. Scowling, he would return to his work, making a mental note to be present for the exchange, wondering what she could possibly be returning.

Alyssia reads the note alongside several others on the board in her usual scan for updates of local gossip. She raises an eyebrow, then continues on to the Old Skull Inn to sleep the morning away.

It does not appear to be a child's writing. If anything, it is extremely well written with each letter elegantly inked out.

After probably being badgered by a guard as he enters Shadowdale, Sordoc goes to look over the notice board, then looks for Gwen, "Hmmm, so we found tha' dark master mayhaps"

((hmm, 2am event for me... I'll try to make it...more lucozade and tea to keep me going)

Cruven looks at the post, having no idea who this "Xyrmoria" is and just shrugs to himself while muttering.

"Eye fer an eye, soun's fair ta me."

After reading the notice he would find Commander Vorik and let him know of Xyrmoria's threat.

After Vorik is notified, he says he'll make sure to be there and notifies a few of the guards and militia as well to be on guard and prepared.
