Around Bleakton and the small hamlet at the ramparts down Krag, Alabaster Baptist is seen more often. He begins preaching with higher frequency; his lessons taking perhaps a different approach. His lessons however, are only one to three people at a time. He can only whisper, as per order to the Church-unless on sacred ground.
"Peasants,
Fear, Hatred, Tyranny. These are the aspects of our Dark Lord. Some think you must have all in your heart at all times. And this is not the case. These are tools to enlighten yourselves. I shall begin to teach you how you can use it in every day life.
Fear: This is how we approach our Dark Lord. We do not approach him with Hatred, as that is misused and will be punished if you continue with Hate. Fear lets the Dark Lord know that you are His. We approach the Dark Lord in Fear, because so long as we Fear Bane, there is no reason to Fear anybody or anything else. Because no matter what can happen to you in this lifetime, in the next-Bane will get to you eventually and if you cross him-what will come will be unmatched by anything you've ever experienced.
Hatred: This is how we approach our enemies. Banites have a history of ruthlessness, because we deal with our enemies with extreme hatred. This does not mean that if you quarrel with another Banite, you must kill him. We speak only of the enemies of Bane, for those are our true enemies. Your personal enemies are of no consequence. If you have a problem with another Banite, you must go to the Church. We will solve this. However, if you find an enemy of Bane, there is no room for compassion.
Tyranny: Our lives are built around servitude. This Tyranny does not come from us. It comes from the Dark Lord, himself. However, there are a few things that might be tricky about this servitude. First, do not become blinded by servitude. Do what you are ordered to without question-but keep an eye on what it is you are told to do, and come to the Church if you have concerns. You may not be able to see the bigger picture, but the Church can and does. We will sort anything out that might need to be. But you are still to serve. The second part is that because those who are under you serve you, you must also serve them to a lesser degree. Be certain that you treat your servants well when they deserve it, for we are all serving Bane together. This does not mean you must reward them; for we serve only because He commands it. But do not punish when there is no reason to punish. Hatred is for enemies only."
He ends all lessons with the Dark Lord's prayer, and gives them a small bit of his own food. He has an open door policy for all who wish to see him in Krag; from Peasant to Commander.
