The elf returns the salute with a polite smile and a nod - Good morning Nilaa My'manir, good to see you. Than he returns his atention to both.

- The poetry of fellow kin interest me I admit, but I am not saying I will immediately depart in a quest to search for the hoard of a dragon  *smirks*, but as a start would not be any pain to help in a search in our library, with the condition you will stop play these depressive melodies until we find something to 'fix' your problem. By the way I am Nadin Moonbolt, bladesinger of the people and current Keeper of Myth Drannor.

Illyndor would have no trouble finding a member of the Akh'Velahr willing to talk on the subject.

"You probably mean the weeping bard, right?"

"Yes. Would you happen to know when our somber friend first arrived? Was anybody else with him? Anything at all you can share would be helpful."

If the testimony of various members of the Akh'Velahr are correct, the bard probably entered town two weeks ago - but he didn't start playing his sad tunes until rather recently.

One of the Akh'Velahr even believes he remembers the bard's name - he believes he introduced himself as Yelnan.

The bard curiously looks over Nadin. Realizing he is indeed facing the Keeper, he straightens up and dusts off his colourful robes.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to cause trouble... I just... when I give myself to the sorrow, I just play... I never realized I am causing this much trouble. I will understand if you throw me out."

The bard looks a bit ashamed - despite his sorry state.

"Wouldn't be the first time."

He adds as he sighs. He then realizes that introductions would be in order and looks back to Nadin.

"My name is Yelnan Elaquen. And... If you really mean it with the offer to help, I'd be forever indebted to you."

My'manir stands by in silence, having little else to add in the matter.

"Thank you for your time, cousin. You've been a great help. I will speak with the Keeper on this matter, and I will pass word of your assistance onto him. May the Protector bless you."

If the Akh'Velahr has nothing to add, Illyndor would bow his head and move on his way.

- You are welcomed Yelnan Elaquen, you will not be tossed out of the city unless necessary and curently there is no need *Nadin smiles politely*. Did you considered the nature of this almanach to be essentially magic or that maybe it is metaphoric? What if our clues indicate not a real book but the inspiration inside you? Would this suffice your needs?

"At this moment, I am willing to try anything. But from what I gathered, the almanach is a real book. It's similar in design to the Book of infinite spells - or so I was told, but the level of magic mastery used to craft it is beyond the abilities of mortal mages.

Don't get me wrong, the book bestows no power to anyone - it is not an artifact crafted for combat - unless you count creative insults as a way of fighting your foe..."

The elven bard probably just tried to make a joke - which is quite a step forward in his demeanour.

"But as to where it might be... I have no idea. It is supposed to be a creation of Olidammara... So maybe if we found a priest of Olidammara, he might know. But if you have any ideas, I am all ears."

((From this moment on, the event can be taken IG at any time - when you decide to do so))
