A Gruesome Sight

Mid morning a Large heavily muscled man many know As Ranya Drags six Drow Corps into town all lashed together with what appears to be a combination of belts and their own Leather.. he stops near the fountain until approached by a Guard and with a grimace explains that they killed two others and collected their holy symbols which he now carries.. one is of Lathander. H ealso explains he was able to question a leader briefly before she died and it was revealed this was but a tip of what was described as a massive spear point aimed at the dales. "I may have some other information , but would be loathe to discuss it unless The Militia Commander at least were present, perhaps even Lord Alazar himself, The Lord is familiar with me.

A human woman sits near the fountain within Shadowdale. She speaks to one or two others of a dog who was apparently trained or otherwise made to act in distress and then lead people out of Shadowdale westward. Once outside the walls, they were ambushed by one or several Drow. She doesn't seem to recall many of the details, but seems convinced of her experience.

Word of mouth spreads in Shadowdale that the hunter Hun-Balam has seen an increased number of suspicious people in the North Ride, near The Hunt inn & breakfast.

No incidents are known so far, but travelers may heed recommendations of caution when heading through the North Ride as to avoid any unpleasant surprise.
