Traitors

This letter is delivered to the Defenders only by Diplomat Ilmyrl.

The letter was penned in common text, the writing looking slightly rigid and wavy as if the writer was upset.

The worse has come to pass. Once friends, now enemies, Gul Ka'rik and May'katcha have done the unspeakable. They have shook our fragile truce with the Black Archers by attacking Ciardha, torturing him, cutting his ears and fingers off, and leaving him for dead. We are working to apologize and restore Ciardha's lost limbs for him in hopes of salvaging this...mess.

We suspect that Gul and May have been consorting with the unredeemables such as Shyntra and others for some time. They purposely left the archer alive to cause trouble for us. I do not know if we can mend the shaky bridge they have shattered between us and the Black Archers.

What makes matters worse is we hold no doubt that Gul Ka'rik will tell all he knows to the Lolthites. Consider anything sensitive you may have ever told him to be compromised and take steps to defend yourselves from the coming fallout.

If you see them, make no mistake, they are not your friend or ally any longer. They are our bitter enemies and must be stopped. Do not hesitate to strike them down if you see them. They are beyond your help. We will no longer hold quarter for them either. We thought over these past few months that we had changed them for the better, but they have fallen back into their dark ways as a result of petty arguments and trivial matters. We can only believe that they've simply been playing us this entire time.

I am greatly sorry for those who may have once called them friend. They have betrayed us all.

thank you ari for the info and know im to sadened by this news and as well feel betrayed by them. i hope that the restoring goes well and maybe that will aide in keeping the truce alive.
