Um, I am new to the server, took the recommended UD race portal to Sschindylryn..and you cannot go anywhere except in the moat around the zigguarat and collect sharks? Am I doing something wrong? Asked a few DM's they have no idea. Does anyone? Walked up the mountain to the north, there is a cave there I am able to open the door, but I cannot go in whatever is there. Anyone have any ideas?

There is a portal room you can get to from a door connected to the pyramid like structure (or maybe it is a cave) that will connect you to the greater UD.

Thank you sorry about that. Yea, I finally went through portal. Ill wander around. Went to upper dark and got slaughtered. Then went deeper down in Upper dark and got slaughtered. Have not gone through Mushroom forest yet. I will figure this out! I hope lol.

I'd recommend either killing sharks or going tot he refugee camp and killing beetles for a few levels. Beetles if you are drow, sharks if you are not and don't want abuse or beetles if you like abuse.

p.s. Sharks are in the mote around Sschindylryn. Beetles are in the cave you can get too from inside the refugee camp.

From the other side of the portal, keep walking until you find an area with drow gaurds. Walk past them and eventually you will get to a cave on your left (I think). Should be there.

It has been a while since I was down there.

I made an orc last night, spawned there, and I had the same problem as the OP. That place is dark as heck even with darkvision. Also, I ran the moat once and only found like 4 sharks.

I'll look for the portal again next time.

i think you must take bloom effects off from graphic menue of game. this make this city much more light.

Thanks, i tried turning off the bloom, no real help.

I did another circuit of the moat, found a few more sharks. Pretty slow xp. I ended up going to the drow camp, the beetle cave was much better xp and coin.

And people were there, even if most were drow. A little better i guess, we'll see.
