Looking for people to vouch for Garag

The issue of Garag, the half orc was brought to me many times at the last few weeks.
I am willing to consider and give him a passage in the area of the Refuge Camp only.

I am looking for people who know him very well and can vouch for him.

Vouching for this one also means to take responsibility if he does something wrong at the future.
Do not belittle this issue please.

Garag is a simple minded fellow.
he has helped the manes and myth's people's
but at the same time he is so dense that he could be easily be persuaded to tell about conversations he has over herd and the likes. he is a good man considering his heritage but should not be privy to any important dealings the defenders and rebels as a whole are doing.

Is like having to do with a huge child, he seem to have a basic concept of what he should and should not do, like a child he don't seem to have a fixed concept of good and evil, justa vague direction, for what i have seen, toward good.

My question is another, Garag is a simple minded seven feet axe wielding half orc that mostly don't know even some basic concepts, he don't know how to read or write, want we throw such a being in the hands of the Zhents or whoever can make him a no remorse axe killing monster, or can we shelter such a being and maybe, i say maybe, teach him something to do good, Arvoreen forbid try to help him becaming something more then he is now?

Of course, we can throw all the possible trouble at the door, let's others deal with such people, after all is not Myth Drannor problem mh?
But if we do that, i wish that no defender dare to lament when the Zhents might use such people against us and lament of the "Filthy half orc that dare to raise his axe against the elves"

I would say we could try to contact Cub the Monk Orc at the Oak so he could take him and maybe tutor him some. I do not think the city is the best for him with all the grudge against his blood and all the hate it can push on him, it might just do the opposite of what we could want for him. I think the Oak inn and a tutor would be best at first

This is not an open discussion of allowing all orc or half orcs into Myth Drannor.

To those who would are interested to say a word or to in favour of Garag, I will wait for few more days.

Garag helped whenever he could. I believe letting him into the refuge camp would be wise - after all, he is a refuge. He can't survive in the Dales, the Inn is no loger safe.

If the city turns back on him and shows him no respect for his actions, we can't expect him to respect the city in return, or provide any aid in the future.

I have fought alongside the Half-Orc and saw him willingly lend a helping hand to those in need.
He has a kind heart and caring nature, but I am compelled to warn you:

Garag is not free of the bloodlust inherent to most of his kin.
If provoked time and again, he is likely to reply with force.

I would give my word gladly if I knew such a situation was unlikely to arise, but I have seen the actions of other visitors in the camp, more than one of which would likely decide to provoke him into action simply due to ages old spite between races or out of sheer malice.

If you do allow him into the camp, I would suggest it be made clear that if he is provoked by pointless insults and actions due to no fault of his own short of his blood, and there are witnesses willing to testify that such was the case, the provoking party will be subject to the same punishment that the Half-Orc receives for whatever action he takes.

I would hope such measures be sufficient to deter those who would think they can get away lightly with making a sport of humiliating an ally of Myth Drannor, while offering a home to one who has helped the city and its inhabitants time and again in the past.

I would be careful with a creature whom lacks the wisdom to stay his blade when confronted by a insult.

None of the Elves would be granted such a clemency so it shall not be done for one of mix blood.

he is loyal, has a good soul and his heart is in the "right place",

is he perfect? of course not,

But I think you should allow his passage, with some restrictions at first. This will give him time to really understand his rights and duties,
