Warning delivered by a drow

A bunch of Zhentarim was seen surrounding a lone traveler and threatening to kill him. Once they formed a ring around him and started beating him, two strangers joined the fight to defend the man traveling alone.

The Zhentarim were quickly slain and driven away, but they still managed to kill the traveler. After removing the mask from the slain traveler, the adventurers shooked back when they realized they had just defended a drow's life. After careful evaluation of the situation, they decided to bring the drow back from the death and interrogate him.

They drow, using name Edrik, was carrying a message to someone called Thomas in Myth Drannor. It was a warning saying that the forces of undead, controlled by the Goddess Kiraianslee, are attacking the Underdark and once the drow run out of men, the undead will roam free on the surface of Dales. He also told that few groups of undeads have already gotten out of the underdark and found their way near Shadowdale.

After the interrogation the drow was shown mercy and let free. For now.
