An odd occurance at the old mine

Recently at the old mines in the northern vales kobolds have been seen coming back and forth. White paint covering there skin in tribal markings as they praise word of the "Ivory lord" or "Great Huzante" Those with draconic can hear them speaking of the true blood that has come to prosper their tribe and those brave enough to get closer see the Kobolds gathering ANY thing shiny they can get there hands on. pulling shiny rocks, shells, worthless gems, armor, weapons, broken farm equipment and anything else that the sun might gleam off of into the old mine....What could be going on?

Justin assumes the Kobolds are simply stupid. He goes about his mining routine as usual, mindlessly slaying any kobold in his path.

"Bloody pests. Get outta muh town!"

As Justin would be mining loud growls. quite uncommon for the mines and a more...rallied defense of the kobolds would be seen, not fighting but trying to keep him away from the gems he pulled out, Kobolds upon kobolds takling at Justin with grabbing fingers all of which screaming "NO TAKE IVORY LORDS TREASURE! HE NEEDS IT! HE NEEDS IT OR WE DIE!!!" The cries were in desperation and not one of anger some of the kobolds even beg for Justin to return the gems.

"What the hells!? I need these metal ore for smith work y' damned kobolds! Keep the gems!" He throws a handful of gems from his pocket and dashes off.

Quickly the kobolds squeel and begin to pick up the shiny mostly invaluable rocks, piling them up with the others and wheeling a cart to the back of the old mine where a light snore could be heard aswell as the prominent smell of sulfur.

Perhaps through rumors or whispers from the planar beyond, the news reached the knifed ears of Zekryn. Dressed in his typical shadowdale attire of a soft blues, numerous small pouches and two satchels strung across his lean form, stave in hand.

During the darker hours of the day he would leave the town, nodding to a few guards he had spoke with in a rare occasions, showing his papers to those that questioned his right to wear a hood. Slowly but surely he arrived upon the entrance to the mine.

Slipping down into its lit depths, shrouded by the blessings of his goddess, allowing him to lurk in even the most lit tunnels or in rare case daylight. Any kobold that may have spotted him would be quickly perished into nothing. Only leaving a small pile of shadowy ash where it once may have stood, forgotten and claimed for later use in his necromantic acts.

Sniffing the air lightly as the stench of sulfur assaulted his nostrils, his vast knowledge allowing him to break the veil of ignorance and come upon the simple logic of Kobolds fear and respect of full blooded kin. A dragon, a simple and clean answer flowed into his plotting mind. By this time he was not far from the back of the mine, waiting to see if the creature had noticed his presence yet before moving on.

As the mage krept closer to the back the snoring grew louder and the smell of sulfur grew stonger, there upon a pile of mostly colored rocks surrounded by ten or so kobold shamans lay the great mighty Huzante. The kobolds saying such in their chantings as they bowed and praised. Though with keen hearing Huzante stirred and lifted his head lazily as the intruder. A few corpses lay at the door, chared beyond recognition, one splattered by a smoldering boulder that somehow got into the chambers he was in. piles upon piles of gold and worthless gems littered the floor. "Another?...really?..." He snorted out before a familiar smell "Ah...it is you..." he said, eyes focusing on the drow as he made his way near.
