Terror from the Deep

The last cycles strange creatures emerged from the depth of the lake in Sschindylryn. The target was all living creatures, and the market was heavily hit, many traders were wounded and some even died.

The attackers were looking humanoids, two arms, tow legs, the size around of a larger Drow or a surfacer. They seemed to able to walk even after the most deadly blow, which would but a normal mortal down.

Yet the guards managed to repeal the attack and drive these presumably undeads back, killing almost all of them.

Ra'ize snorts when he hears this news.

"Well it shows Malla Lolth still tests them, even when they harbor heretics. They should be grateful."

There was a second assault of similar undead creatures from the lake in the last cycles at Sschindylryn.

The rumours are uncertain of the size of the damage and the lost of life.

A half-drow female and another faern managed to keep themselves alive fighting against the wave of drowned dead.

The waterlogged dead descended upon the Great City in vast numbers, overcoming many of the living. Buyers and merchants alike.

The half-drow female managed to walk away, though her coughing could be heard by any survivor, as her lungs were twice filled with vile stagnant and rotting water.

The merchants would tell about the assault. Both of them came from the lake, strange walking corpses emerged and tried to destroy every living creature around.

Some would tell their concern how this would effect their business and of course their life.

The deep gnome boot-shiner tells that even the mighty old beholder and the illithid were down in the first assault, almost the whole market was cleaned out, empty and silent it was for at least a cycle.
