Another one sneaked up on her, trying to hit her with arrows...but they easily bumped off her full plated armor. With a few swings the creature was laying down at her feet. Quickly, she removed the horns of the beast. She looked around in the darkness...that darkness...not the pitch black darkness she is used to...it still makes her feel uncomfortable... as if too much exposed...as if eyes werewatching her. But hold on....eyes were watching her!
Looking over her shoulder she saw a black relatively small figure approach. She stood up... eyes fixed on the dwarf, getting ready for whatever he might throw at her.
Her spells were fading, her packs filled with horns...she had no time for this! She decided to throw it on small talk... the dwarf might fall for it...it surely looked dumb enough to her. He said his name was Black Ironhouse. She heard that last name before... somewhere. She had to cut the conversation...get down...the curse should have been coming soon!
Blast it! The vithing dwarf kept on asking her to remove the hood! Quite an annoyance... she might actually have to face this one and lose precious time... Or could he actually be a threat…a sport? Surely not.. she was vastly superior to him... it was just a dwarf after all.
The dwarf launched an attack against her... she summoned a vampire prince to fight for her... distract the dwarf so she could use spells to strengthen herself. Once buffed she quickly got the upper hand. The dwarf almost dead, hit her but she could hold herself...no matter...he was a corpse...
Then something strange happened...the dwarf regained strength, restored to full health! A healing spell meant for herself somehow benefited the dwarf… This was not what she expected...this was a won battle! She ran, trying to gain time enough for her regeneration spell to run its course, and counterattack. He ran after her... but dwarves with those little legs...they do not run as fast as Illythiiri...she outmatched him with ease. And when she came back for him, even though he was fully rested and she was not, it mattered little… Soon, he was bleeding on the altar, in the refugee camp deep into the Underdark…
Lolth Tlu Malla!
