*i would like a Dm to work with me a little on this but anyone with the associated lore can chip in*

*missives are spread from shadowdale far and wide to houses and academies of ancient lore*

dear sir or madam

My name is anastasia rosenberg and recent visitations into the daggerdale have peeked my interest though my knowledge is limited i ask for assistance in that matter.

a tower lies north of a large fortification that seems of ancient design adn i believe it is known as the white crag, much older than any construction seen on my travels. I had thought such was imaskari but other input may date it as much older, netherese perhaps.

if this is true then i would ask of you any information regarding such structures and the potential dangers that may exist within such things. with this information i intend to form an expedition of sorts within to see what information can be found and with that i would gladly provide copies to those who assist in building my knowledge beforehand.

*the letter is signed with elaborate curving letters*

Anastasia Rosenberg

A copy of the note makes it's way to Freehaven, into the hands of Dannjl Still, who has been known to pay good coin for news and information on such topics. He scans it quickly, and formulates a response.

Anastasia

I believe I know the tower of which you speak; it lies in the Dagger Hills, in giant territory, and seems to have an entrance halfway up the structure. Alas, my attempts to scale it have failed; there are either wards or long-forgotten architectural defense blocking my path.

It does bear a certain resemblance to some architecture I've seen in Thay; reminiscent of ancient Imaskari desgins (which mostly pre-date the grand structures of the Netherese, in fact), but I have not uncovered any historical records of Imaskari outposts this far east; not in the Dales anyways.

Assuming we speak of the same construction, I too am anxious to explore the tower. As someone with a little experience with Imaskari ruins, as well as an avid interest in archeology, I'm sure I could be a valuable addition to any expedition planning on entering the site.

I would love to hear whatever information you have uncovered; please write me back.

Dannjl Still
