Dead Elf

The remains of a Star elf were dumped on the outskirts of the zhent town of Shadowdale. Cascadian Mellady'svarion brutalized corpse, shackle marks on his ankles and wrists, magical burn marks, battered face, deep cut slash wounds to his chest, and one ear severed. His belongings picked clean.(consented perma death)

Lansolentalas spots the remains from the shadows of a distant tree. His keen eyes easily notice the remains to be that of another Star Elf. Not knowing the reason behind the unfortunate man's demise, Lansolen dared not move closer. He lingered a long moment before turning away to make haste for Myth Drannor, glancing back once more, wishing he could give the unknown elf a proper burial. He whispered a prayer for the dead as he swiftly returned to the shadows, knowing his duty to protect He'westa would be far more difficult if his kind continued showing up dead.

On her way out of the town, a lone elf stops for a moment to look to the body. Not recognizing him she sighs at the situation, shaking her head. Returning to town momentarily to purchase some canvas to wrap his body in as well as a spade. After neatly wrapping his corpse up, she carries him out toward a more secluded spot of woods, then setting the wrapped body gently to the side, she begins digging out a hole to set him in. When she finishes in her task, she takes care in moving to hide the burial from outside eyes, murmurs a short prayer and then finally begins making her way toward the east through the woods.

at night a dark figure masked and cloaked by magic and shadows observes the beaten and shattered corpse for some time... tears running down her cheeks, she watches the other elf dragging him further into the woods and bury him. Making sure no one is near, she aproaches the grave after she is done and starts so remove the corpse from the new grave.. picking it up gently with magic enhanced strenght and then slips into the Etherael plane to quickly slip away from the burial site.

*a grey-robed elf with a staff in hand watches the corpse disapear from a distance..standing under the shadows of the trees he mumbles a prayer and turns on his heel..a very low grumble can be heard before the figure slips into the shadows of the woods*
