PostSubject: OOC: New Drow, looking for house   OOC: New Drow, looking for house EmptyMon Jan 30, 2012 4:25 pm

Hello, I am making a new drow character to be active on. Does anyone have any ideas for a good, active house to be part of as a male rogue noble?

What aspects of drow role play do you like?

If you like red capes, which is okay.. I mean, I don't know why you would like red capes.. But if you do, Dabel'kith is an okay choice.. Now Zau'Afin, on the other hand. If you like purple capes, even a little bit, well.. They're a great choice for those who like purple capes.

Otherwise I dunno. Dabel'kith seems more strict and militaristic while Zau'Afin seems more laid back.

Hmm...By reading this Lazern im not sure if you are really up to date to give any feedback on houses Smile

We (red cape Dabel'kith) do not bully people by far. We do like to keep lore and play Drow how they are ment to be. Mostly we RP in the house, and for the rest, all around the server.

OOC, I really like house Jaelre, so if you intent to play a drow Vhaeraunite those are the guys you should look for.

As for Zau'Afin... Dabel'kith is way better Very Happy purple capes...such a bad taste Dargoth...such a bad taste Wink

Nah, I'll leave that up to you, ....just RP around and go with what you like best.

And dont give too much regard on this Lazern Wink

.

I'll apologize on behalf of my guild, generally we do not hang around camp with the intention to bully other players, in fact I highly discourage bullying between players in the under dark. Dabel'kith has always done it's best to be welcome to new players, even ones who are not knowledgeable about the lore of the Under Dark. We've been very patient and welcoming to new players in the past and will continue to run as such in the future. What darthorgana says of Dabel'kith is true. We are quite strict and value keeping to the lore highly. If you are looking for a more laid back experience in the under dark, perhaps it is not the first choice.

Vaeferen, if you are interested please send me a private message and we can arrange some rp to have you join our ranks.

Posters, I would request that you refrain from attaching derogatory terms such as "bully" to my guild in an out of character setting.

Thank you.

There are other options than the noble houses, too.... What a Face

If you're playing a male rogue, I might have a suggestion for you. PM me if you're curious.

sighs.

OK im disappointed.

the original poster asked a real question, there were some fun replies and then peopel started getting offended and sniping at each other.

Sorry to come the momma-mouse, but all of you for heavens sake grab a good cupful of humour and have a long drink.

And for heavens sake, if someone asks a question again, don't let it become a free-for all like this would if it wasn't about to be locked right now. Fair warning: if people start getting offended, or taking good humoured stuff out of context your posts will be deleted.

I'm sorry, OP'er, I hope you find a nice house, anyone else who wishes to talk to you can pm.

what happened to the easy going laughter-and-respect?
