Shadowdale's local gypsy can occasionally be seen seeking out books on conjuration, binding, and similar magical things. At other times, when she has free moments to spare, she can be found reading a small tome of a similar nature.

She also seems particularly interested in any book she can find regarding the planes and planar creatures. Eventually, she tacks up a notice on the bulletin board in Central:

Seek out Syn, halfling red-head gypsy, in Shadowdale region.

Malik reads it and chuckles to himself. "Now why would a little dancing halfling looking for Loviatans need knowledge of the planar entities.. Interesting.."
He shakes his head and goes about his buisness, ignoring it.
