Research at the library

Blanche would walk into the library, her heels clicking against the wooden floor. She would find the librarian and offers him a radiant smile and ask for the section on ancient scripture and forgotten spells.

Whether or not he provides her with the information, she would search the library for tomes and codex containing Arcane scriptures, languages of the UD and anything about mindlfayers, their rituals and magic. She pauses, recalling the the time spell she had managed to decipher and decides to get books on the matter as well.

As an archaeologist, she opens her tailored black book and flicks through it. Having experience in deciphering ruins and research' she had made notes of the scripts and markings on the pillar as well as some of the details in the mindflayer's transcripts, she begins to search- comparing anything she may find to be similar.

You begin your research... you have a feeling... this is going to take awhile for as paradoxical and impossible for any magic to twork via the inscription... you get the feeling... that the unknow strange runes and markings (and if/when she meets Laura Krows she will be able to notice a ucanny resembilance to her silver tattoos on her cheeksand up the side of her eyes, that they have with this strange and alltogeather alien scripture) in anycase.. it would be clear... that what ever the effect.. it would be something found only with the most highest of Magics, just as Mithrals, Epic Spells, Lesser artifact creation ect..

Blanche would most likely encounter Karovir who is busy trying to find any books about the Crown Wars and a certain lich.

Blanche would hurriedly take out the relevant books and make notes. She offers Karovir a faint nod, taking what she can borrow and making her way out of the library and towards the oak. There, she continues her research with a wine glass at her side and a clear mind.

Her mind works swiftly, and a thought triggers an enlightenment. Perhaps Dagon and his vast libraries contained anything of note. Until she'd meet Laura Krows, Blanche would attempt to utilize any possible resource at her disposal.

While in the Library Blanche would meet the High Mage.
He would offer he a kind smile and would give her acompliment saying how much he likes her shoes.

After returning from the beastmen tower without much information at all, Blanche would return to Myth Drannor, hoping to get the key that opens the portal to Dagon's personal plane in order to search through his more prized collection of books.

Upon returning to the Library to return her books. Blanche smiles beautifully at the high mage, thanking him and returning the compliment saying there were not many around with appreciation of respectable attire and designer wares. She compliments the man on his robes and proceeds to make idle chatter before bringing up the topic of mindflayers and their psionic/arcane magic as well as their language. She shows him the symbols she noted and how the scripts and arcane looks impossible to activate.

Karovir who had been researching for a good day or so now would not have turned up much to be honest, although there was a a single mention of someone called Tabius but from the short passage from a book on the third and second Crown War he was no Lathite, but instead a Paladin of the old Sun God Amu.

Amu... that might explaine why his armor was mistaken for Lathite armor.

Karovir would read what he found and grumble. Then he copies the passages and puts the book back where he found it. "Maybe that's one of the important events in time and a clue to find a grain of sand? Maybe it's the thing this Tabius was looking for..."
