A small argument in Shadowdale

A small argument erupted in Shadowdale between the Banite Orphanage owner, Eric Tibus, and the Commander of the Black Hounds, Cruven Schlachten. Those around witnessed as the two argued over a child brought out of the near by barn with a leash and collar around her neck. Some claim they saw fire emit from the Mercenary Commander's mouth as he shouted at Eric in anger. The argument went on for quite some time before Adept Zabuura of the Zhentarim appeared, taking control of the dispute. After some quiet conversations between the Adept and the two men, the child can be seen being released to Cruven. After removing the collar and dropping it in the trash, Cruven wrapped the child in his cloak and lifted her up, carrying her out of Shadowdale.

A halfling toymaker clad in a simple white dress watched the dispute, passively sewing/repairing a chubby, stuffed moose doll despite the situation. Should questions need answers, she'd likely seem to be a fairly non-biased individual to the Zhentilar swordhands that were present.
