A head left in a tree

A few minutes travel from shadowdales main road a head can be found hanging from a tree branch, those getting closer would notice it's the halfdrow Vuz'merr'ss with a small fine letter there along with his head.

The head was placed there somewhere along the night, and with no tracks are visable

The letter reads

Jealre, and other surface drow.

your kind is not welcome here, be warned that the more this continues.
the more of your kind will end up like this one. let that be a warning to you.

The letter is left unsigned

The 'surface drow' who was accompaying the now headless man waits on the other side of the riverbank for some time. She crouches low by the side of the road, idly picking at tufts of grass while she waits for him.

After an hour or two, she crosses deftly back over the rickety log to find the head hanging from the tree.

She sighs and cuts it down, stuffing it in a sack before making the long trek back to Freehaven.
