After the execution

A human and an elf can be seen dragging the body of a tall grey haired man who would be identified as Karovir by any of the guards to the camp of Myth Drannor. They layed him down in a tent near the campfire.

Mahalion would catch on the sight of the figure that once was Karovir as he exited the Traveling star and approached those that carried him. He would ask what happened and the condition of the man. Perhaps on purpose as his deeper instincts told him of the already soul-less body. He offered aid in whatever manner he could. After all this was one of the few humans that had earned his respect.

Naturally, he gives the space to actual priests to look after the scene, he would even call after the nearby Shrine of Chauntea if needed; hoping the Harvesmistress Navarre could come to help the fallen human.

*after hearing of Karovirs fate Auryne hurries to the Tents to see how he is feeling. She stays by his side to tend to him as long as her duties allow and summons the High Priestess of the Temple of the Seldarine to aid in his recovery*

*After know of the current condition of Karovir, Nadin immediately go for his aid, but noticing Auryne is already there he decides to be near her in all case. He will stay acting as a guard and silently will pray that his condition can be reversed and both soul and body can be united and restored properly. He nods respectfully and say thanks for those involved in Karovir's rescue if they are near.*

Mars would be near the camp fire preparing for a patrol when Karovirs body was brought in. Is there anything I can do Auryne?

*Tay'lin approaches slowly staring down at her Arms-Captain stroking her soft skin slowly*
*If those who know her did not know better they might see an envious spark in her eyes*

The "Field Guardian" Paladin at the Shrine notifies the Harvestmistress about Mahalion's visit and Karovir's condition, she quick collects a few special herbs in the blessed garden, her mortar and pestle, bandages, does a little prayer and runs to the tents.

The Coronal hears of Karovirs predicament and sends word to bring him to the temple in Myth Drannor.

Due to all the help and support Karovir's body seems to be healthy again. Rumor has it that he woke up today though something seemed to be entirely wrong. He also would shout and sent anyone away who comes to try to bring him to the temple.

Zephyr enters the tent, nodding his head and placing a bottle of spirits next to his bed.

"Get better soon, you shall not die before me, old man."

*Karovir would take the spirits and examine them carefully before nodding to Zephyr* At least one person around here who knows what a man in my situation really needs, whoever you are.

Sylwyn makes haste towards the tent where Karovir is now residing in and stays in the far back as others rush to see Karovir. He has his arms crossed and looks about as if partially keeping guard as well as not entirely sure what to do with himself. Upon making eye contact with Karovir, Sylwyn gives him a friendly wave before settling back into the same position he was in before.

*Upon returning from scouting the cormathor around Myth Drannor Cealine makes way to see how Karovir is doing, she would make a slight wave to him if eye contact is ever made before she is off to do other things*

Piak, hiding his concern about his old friend, takes his time with a visit.
Only when the first "assault" on Karovir is over, he'd carefully check if the old grump is asleep, then knock on the doorframe (or whatever there is to knock) and slouch down on the next chair for a short visit. With him, he brings a couple of cheap swashbuckler novels for the patient to read and think of other things.
In the unexpected case Karovir feels like talking, Piak would talk about the weather, the last harvest, how much young adventurers suck these days and.... well, cheap swashbuckler novels, but for sure not Karovir's predicament.

Amar, paying a visit, would just sit in the chair next to Karovir, not saying anything unless Karovir breaks the silence.. He places a small bottle, some bread and cheese on the table next to Karovir and leans back in the chair. looking now and then at Karovir, his eye will show a bit of concern.

Alarice stops by briefly, looks Karovir over and says tersely. 'I heard you still lived, good! this place would not be the same without you.' She then turns and leaves to continue her patrols.

Flowers, berries and a bottle of ale is left beside Karovir as he sleeps with a note:
"Silly humans always sleeping so much. Get better soon! Hug from Saira!"

First he wonders where all the strange people come from but after some time he doesn't mind anymore. He avoids talking much and instead can be seen playing with two rings in his hands and examining them after his belongings have been returned to him by Auryne. "Now I know why elven hospitality is so famous. They even treat their enemies like kings" he mumbles before giving an odd look at a pile of swashbuckler novels.

Evan comes by and offers Karovir some really old brandy he have saved for a special occasion. He offers Torms blessings and talks about warfare in general and finishing with stories of the times where he and Karovir have fought side by side.

Nathaniel hands in a report to the defenders:

I heard a rumor that a rebel leader had been captured and executed by the Zentarim.
I asked some Shadowdale residents that I met in the beastmen area and they confirmed the rumor naming the rebel leader as Karovir.

I walked in to central Shadowdale since I'm not a known defender.
I pretended to be an enemy of Karovir and asked where they had disposed of his body so I could desicrate it. The real plan of course is to take the body to Myth for resurrection.

The guards ((DM_Noctune)) said they thrown it just east of town for the vultures and carrion crawlers to feed upon.

I searched the area and found the place but the body was gone.
My tracking skills are not very good and I lost the trail.


Upon hearing that Karovirs body have been found and brought to Shadowdale and resurrected Nathaniel is glad and offers to guard the entrance to Karovirs tent not allowing to many visitors at a time. He is vigilant and don't leave his post as long as he don't get exchanged by a defender.

Kirala offers some hand-picked flowers (She's not that much of a florist so the arrangement looks rather average) and a painting of her's, a nice, happy scene of the city of Myth Drannor, sans people, as get well soon gifts.

*Roman hears news from Iriandor at the Star that Karovir is rescued and recuperating in Myth Drannor. He smiles coldy, a tad tipsy from drink and speaks freely.*

Oh, is that so huh? Well I hope the lad is doing alright. Hmmm, funny though... folks don't seem to stay dead very long around here. Jergal is displeased I am sure. Maybe the Zhents just aren't doing it right... *laughs into his brandy snifter* ...bloody fools!
