Wagons to the Crypt

Covered wagons move from the Twisted Tower up to the Crypt on top of the Old Skull Mound and back. Swordhands and Adepts escort the wagons turning back anyone who approaches them. Anyone who heads to the Crypt is also turned around, if asked why they simply respond. "Orders from up top."

Vincham soon finds that he can no longer make his regular incursions into the Crypt. He soon finds himself agitated but curious as to what the Zhents could possibly be up to.

Sordoc watches the wagons roll past towards the Crypt.

"hmmph, mo' trubble nah, mayhap a revision ta sort art an'all"

In response to the rumors and whispers heard, the Clergy of Bane and a few of its Templars can be witnessed walking around speaking with people. Those that insist upon spreading the false words are met with a strong presence and ushered or taken, if need be, into the temple of Bane, where they are further spoken to on the matter in an act of diplomacy to halt the speakings. Any caught spreading word further are arrested for disturbing the peace.

*aswell some people could notice that at nights other red robed man walk up the hill inside the crypts untill day light streets of Shadowdale.

Tarlyn watches from the shadows as the Zhents start to work with the Crypt. Nodding his head.. "Now I see why that one Banite would not do anything. The want the Undead in there for themselves." Slowly moving away to watch in a well hidden spot, Tarlyn watches to see where the covered wagons go. Following on foot at a safe distance.

He also makes note of whom is doing this... Thinking:

Silently following at a distance, Maurik watches to see where they go..after they are done at the Crypt.

Adept Ahri Benseph can be seen patrolling the area, on the look out for intruders. She casts a few spells to help her keep watch on the area, such as prying eyes and alarm wards.

Vincham disappears for a day.

He promptly appears early the next, smelling lightly of embalming fluid to those who recognise the smell.

Kellan, who also makes frequent excursions into the Crypt, would not be argumentative when turned away. He would, however, try and politely find out what the project is for.

"As an adherent of Kelemvor, may I assist in any way?"

A red robed figure bearing a skull mask would exit the crypt and approach Kellan, simply stating coldly. "It is not of your concern Kelemvorite, we need not your aid."

Kellan's features tighten, his lips pressing to a small frown. But he nods curtly, "Very well. Your work is authorized by the Zhents or the Church of Bane, I would hope?

He would appraise the priest for a moment and nod lightly. "Of course, our task has been approved by the lawful administrators of this town." He would then wait for the man to leave so he could resume whatever prior functions he was doing inside.

Kellan nods curtly, eyes narrowing a hair before he turns and makes his way back to Shadowdale proper. When there, he'll immediately approach an officer of the Zhentarim to corroborate the Thayan's claim of lawful approval for whatever actions he is taking. If the claim is false, he'll simply report the strange activities of the Thayan to the authorities.
