Last Part of the Trial Of Hector

To all those involved in this, I need to know when you can make it. Umbra said tomorrow is good for him, but I understand it may be a little short notice. So post in here what days and times you can be on.

The list, which is not complete, is as follows:

Hector, Jack, Fidhelis, Ian, Korithian, and whatever witnesses each wishes to call.

Tomorrow should be fine for me, but I will need a time

If Emma is needed, I can be on after 2 pm eastern time.

To tell the truth, I don't know who all the witnesses are. If you think you may be one, might want to post up what times you can be available. Umbra seems to have most of the day free and I should be able to pull off what I am doing pretty much any time, too.

Tomorrow evening, 830 & onward EST works best for me, though my connection is pretty poor around that time.

Ian is kinda busy now. When he gets all settled in again, he'll be around; and he is a CORE, CORE person for me.

Yeah really sorry about the lack of presence I've had. Still getting settled into the new living arrangements. I delegated all I could to Seminole's character if it is decided this needs to get ongoing when I'm not able to make it.

Yes. We need to get this one wrapped up. I'm thinking no later than next weekend.

My schedule is sporadic, currently. I'll make it if I can, but there's a high likelihood that I won't be able to.

Don't wait for me. Since the Castellan has thrown out the rest of my evidence anyway, it doesn't matter much.

I would like Korithian to be there but work is trying its best to kill me and even as I write this I'm expecting a call to tell me I need to travel across the country for another week. But when a time is booked I will do my best to get there.

Alright, can I suggest if we cant all get on at once that the DM's interview each person when they can even if individually (defendants, plaintiffs, and witnesses) if we cant all get on at once this may be the best option... Personally I really wanna know the end result of this as I feel awkward walking around when I know my character is supposed to be in the middle of some huge scandalous and mysterious investigation/trial.

You could do the trial as a Play by Post on the Forum.

Can we pull it all onto the Zhent forums? It's a rather secretive scandal. Not even Jack would want to publicize it to the common folk.

Sure, but one of my witnesses isnt exactly a Zhent, but I agree on it being secretive and all.

One of mine isn't a Zhent either. And DeathsAdversary would need access to the forum. Could we do it temporarily?

Yeah. Not a good idea to give outsiders access to the Zhent forums. Even temporarily would allow them to see all the past and present plotting and such and that leads to a major possibility of metagaming.

I was wanting to do this on Sunday, but, as I have not heard back from most of the people yet, that may not happen. I don't mind doing RP by post, but I'm not a big fan of forum RP for such a major deal. I don't mind Hector's idea of individual testimony, though. Some people were worried about revealing the identities of their witnesses to those they see as rivals/enemies, so this may be a good way to keep that exposure to a minimum. My only problem with it is that it pretty much eliminated the cross examination part and sort of ruins the cool courtroom drama that always accompanies this sort of thing.

I'm available evenings, Arc. Sometimes for a bit here and there during the day when work's light, but I really cant commit that time.

The issue of cross-examination is a big one, imo. If we can't all make it on, i'd be down for a special subforum rp thing.
