Body discovered on the outskirts of the forest

Upon the news, Kira Ward would rush over to identify the person with all haste. Face completely pale. "No no no no! No no . . ." Shoving past anyone in her way to the Temple.

Kira takes the help without looking to whom lends it, staring ahead tears freely flowing, threatening to blind herself in greif as she stumbles in all haste, "Amaerilla!"

As the group approaches the city proper Val sees them and quickly offers his help in carring the poor elf, while Nadin sees to Kira. As they lay the body in the temple, he tries to calm Kira and support her during this tragic time. Staying by her side as long as needed. Making sure that none can bother her during her time of grief and that she is given the space she needs.

Lt. Ward sharply wails on seeing whom it is. Dashing over, frantically try to hold the Elven corpse to chest if she can wrest her way past whomever carries the remains. A humble diamond ring tumbles out of the young officer's pocket. Rocking back and forth with the limp Elfmaiden held to chest, possessed by inconsolable sobs. Noone in the Temple exists to her but Amaerilla.

"I love you too, my heart. I love you...too." Her voice cracks into a tiny squeal on the last word, burying herself in the departed. Burying herself tighter in a rocking ball if anyone approaches.

*While in Myth Drannor to purchase supplies, Ardylan sees Kira rush toward the temple like a diving hawk, with Nadin close behind. Concerned, he hastily follows after her. The closer he gets to the Temple (and the more obvious it becomes that she is headed there) the more worried he gets.

Once he's inside and he sees Kira holding the bloodied body of the elfmaiden, an expression of concern and sadness replaces the look of curiosity he had coming in.*

"Back up folks, give them some room - someone get 'em a healer!"

*Ardylan kneels at Kira's side and puts a hand on her shoulder - even if she doesn't even notice him.*

"Hang in there darlin', we'll get her some help."

Kira scrunches around Amaerilla's fallen form and nods. Then she nods more. She keeps nodding and just rocking, a quivering wreck.

"Hear that, Amaerilla? You're getting help! You'll be okay. We'll be married. Your sister from Sildëyuir will be there, honest. Ev-everyone'll be happy...I promise."

Rocking over and over...

"I promise."

Stepping out of the inn after a good nap, Thermidor catches sight of Kira's mad dash towards Myth Drannor, following in turn out of curiosity. As the situation becomes apparent when he finally catches up with the Lt, the man remains silent and takes a seat next to Kira, a silent but present vigil over the pair.

Is off in the woods on deep patrol in the Cormanthor when he hears of what has happened from a runner.

"It could be that Amaerilla actually wanted to go down fighting and not be Kira Ward's slave of lust and sharessan pleasures...a moment of deep self-reflection on her part I suppose? Though with her snobbery I doubt it. I deceive self trying to find good in a dead woman who sat like a rock and said nothing to anyone but the sell sword."

Steffan watches the woods a moment and then says something on a more serious note.

"A fine way to go Amaerilla, on your feet and not on your knees. At least we can be thankful that with your death maybe we shall see less of Kira Ward in the Cormanthor. I'll shed no tears for either of you but again give thanks."

The brown skinned half-elf male stood dressed in the color of red stood besides Ardy buying supplies and talking about daily evdnts only to find him rushing off as he turned back to ask him a question about the blade he picked up. Quickly he dashed after the male forgetting everything he was going to ask. Barging through the door shortly after the last male, he took a look around slipping past the crowd and looking down towards the. He parts his lips to speak instead shake his head as he simply lets out a mutter.


"By Red Knight's blade. . . . why must this happen?"

He slowly shakes his head towards the sight, feeling the pain of loss. He lets out a soft sigh as he closes his eyes letting himself relax without getting too emotional. He bows his head towards the ground as he lets out a soft prayer before raising it up and looking over at Ardy.

*Jeramy, hearing that there was an other death, especially a violent one heads to the temple where the body is currently. He stays back for a while before walking forward, his spirit guide (telethorcompanion) fallowing at his heels. He steps forward saying*

"I am sorry, but I must do this. I must make sure her spirit passes on safely. Fogo here, *he motions to his telethor companion* tells me that her soul is wild and lost. So, if you will allow me. I will perform the child's last rights ritual to make sure her soul returns to her god safely."

Her left wrist flicks a dagger free into grip, dull bloodshot eyes narrow to Jeramy almost pupilless.

Hoarsely, devoid of tone, "Sh-she's not a Ghost. She's not dead. She's right here...And we're getting married..." Drawing the limp Elfmaiden tighter to right arm, protectively. "You won't take her!"

Ardyln comforted Kira, whom confided her joy that she and Amaerilla are going to be wed, Vent akwardly tried to give flowers, and Steffan constantly complained about the mess Kira's vomit made on the temple stone floor - and for Kira to be taken out. Xavier debuted in Myth Drannor today, so he contributed by being shy but well-meaning. Arwen took custody of the body and found Amaerilla beyond hope.

Shuffling steps out of the temple, supported by Ky, "I'll be a good husband..." and the road rushed up to meet Kira, ending in darkness.

*After Steffan orders Kira to be removed from the temple, Ardylan senses he is more concerned about a small mess on the Temple floor than the well-being of others. An argument ensues. In the end, Ardylan is escorted out of the Temple and fined 1000 gold....*

After standing in the backvround quitly watching the events unfold and the shameful actions of the Defender Valtore leaves to have a talk with the Keeper.

Arjay frowns when he hears about this. "Mmm. Upholding a Zhent toadie making a mockery of the temple over Her Majesty's Akh'Velahr trying to maintain the sanctity of it. Disgraceful."

*Jeramy's spirit guide (telthor companion sniffs at the dead body of the woman whining before looking at Jeramy intently. Jeramy looks back apparently communicating to his spirit silently. After a few moments he looks to the others, talking to the ones who are not currently losing their minds or arguing with people.*

"Her spirit has left her body, but fogo tells me it has not been taken to the higher planes yet. He still sences a small teather binding the soul to this world and can track it down. I do not know what happened to the woman but we may be able to bring her soul back, or at least be able to send her on her way. I will perform my duty's set forth by Lurue to guide the spirit to where it belongs, if any wish to fallow then do so."

*His spirit wolf companion starts to sniff at the ground like a dog would while tracking down prey fallowing an unseen path out of the temple and twards the cormanthor forest.*

The consensus seems to be that if you were not part of the original rp please leave it for the people who were there IG and don't post. If im incorrect please pm me and ill change this post.

((Just gonna wrap things up))

Jeramy, and whoever might have followed him and the spirit companion, will be moved out to the outskirts of the forest once more, close to where the girl was found, however the wolf moves a bit further inwards, until they come to a small clearing, where more blood is present, along with a backpack which likely belonged to the girl as well. Not many things inside, the strangest one is a letter which doesn't appear to have been opened, addressed to Kira Ward.

*Jeramy picks up the letter and places it in his pack to hand to Kira later. He then takes his blessed staff of fire and draws a large circle around the blood and belongings. He draws a star inside the circle, making it a pentagram. His staff leaves in the dirt a small self sustained fire that seams to mark the circle as magical. He takes out of his pack special candles he prepare him self for services like this and places them at each of the points where the star touches the circle and lights them. He stands at the outer edge of the pentagram and touches the edge of the circle with the butt of his staff and starts praying. His spirit wolf circles the circle in a clockwise manor just stalking around it as if eyeing prey. Jeramy while he is praying starts to glow with bright light (master of radiance aura) the light hurting the eyes of those sensitive to light. He continues on praying as if nothing happened. His head rests on the head of the staff, unharmed by the fire the staff is enchanted with.

Jeramy speaks peacefully, but with a voice with much more backing and powerful than the one he usually has.* "Oh, power of fire cleanse this soul's attachment to this world and return her to her rightful place at the side of her god. Lurue I ask thee to give me the power to guide this poor soul so that it may rest in peace and happiness. I ask that you bring comfort and joy to those who mourn the loss of this soul for she is to be happy now that she has left this mortal realm. I invoke my power of fire to cleanse any ties the soul may have to the mortal realm so that she may feel the loving warmth of peace."

*after saying his little speech Jeramy mutters into the head of his staff once more, infusing his staff and then the pentagram with his god given powers (chastise spirits and turn undead) so that the ritual may be completed.*

((if the dm wants or masked shini wants they can roleplay the result of the ritual of passing. and if the dm or masked shini wants they can examin jeramy's staff and mark of fire uppon request. I end the post here so that other people may post to interject if they want. If no one else posts I will end up finishing the ritual my self but I wanted to give people the chance.))

Silesia who was in passing in the while gettng an idea of which areas might offer the best type of lumber would happen upon this purely randomly. Watching it with her normal coldness she would cock her head before calling out. "If you want to truely put rest what ever happened here, why dont you ask the spirte you are trying to put to rest what happened and who did it? Spirtes tend to move on when they are ready and their unfished business is done, bit like myself." And with that, Sil would shrug softly before starting to walk off. only stoping for a moment to whisper something Rashiman.

"Whoever you are, go in peace, live in memory, return to the land be born again in legacy."
