Jakunen Has Left the Building

As some of you may or may not have noticed, I haven't been online in quite awhile. I've been busy with other things, and other games have caught my interest (first The Secret World, and soon, Guild Wars 2).

Since I have absolutely no desire to log in to DB at all, and a great majority of my DB buddies aren't playing either or have been banned, it seems I have no reason to be here right now. Maybe sometime in the future, when all I want is a glass of cold crape in the Oak, or to bask in the sunlight of the Grove, I'll come back.

Until then, DBers, we've had a good run. Ardylan was the most complex character I've ever played, and it was thanks to some great RPers' actions that he turned out to be who he is. He will forever be your Alpha, your overthrown Steward of the Grove, your outcast and lone wolf, your fallen one, and your simple grieving widower. He may return someday, or pop back up in other places in a similar form, but he is not gone.

Ardylan may have left the building, but he will never be gone for good. I leave you with a quote, who's origin I will let you discover on your own, that just seems fitting somehow:

"You're like every character I've ever written. F***ed from page one."

No game offers both RP and action. If there s an action mmo coming out and you wanna play it, go for it Once you get tired of the action and feel like going back to a RP game, there sure arent many of them around!

You should come to the Guild Wars 2 chat group on skype then.

We didnt RP very much, but I have heard good things. Take care man.

To Ardy and the awesome player of Ardy, you've been one of the best I've RPed with! And apart from that budding law career of yours (which I'm sure will be sterling), you should try writing a novel on the side! *hugs* See you sometime

Ardy was one of the best characters on the server, very complex and I liked him for that.
