Hi! I think my yath'abban character (Neer'yl) has been asked access to these forums by a DM. Is there any progress on this?
(Maybe she's already in, but I can't find the forums anywhere on the website).

Hi I was reading up on the forum about getting Yath'abban status.

I have already created my character and would like to start playing however I had it in mind that I would play as a Yath'abban.

A trainee who is questing to gain strength and Knowledge of other workings in the Underdark to help further her studies and serve her Goddess better.

How do I gain Yath'abban status?

Start out as a cleric of Lolth and a Yath'abban of the Arach in Szith Morcaine.

And what is the Arach on Szith Morcaine?

The Lolthite Church - it's right across from where you spawn in Szith.

So all I need to do is go to the Church of Lolth and I can gain the title Yath'abban?

No, all you need to do is put into your background that she already is a Yath'abban of the Arach in Szith Morcaine. Then you log her on and play her as such.

Zath'a Drow cleric ( only class) seeks the path of Yathrin in service to Lolth.
Presently level 12
She is also speaking with House Dabel'kith about possibly joining

Clerics adhering to the Tenets of Lolth and advancing in power withing the outpost can call themselves yath'abbans with 1 cleric level, and then Yathrins once they are lvl 20. Past that there is the honored rank of Yath'tellar to be received but that is usually reserved for those who have shown some great promise or impressed the Yath council or Ullath'tellar.

Please keep in mind a Matron Mother does not necessarily need classes in cleric.
