| Secluded away from most of the word, and nestled up in the Cormanther near Myth Drannor, the humans that settled in the Lathanderite settlement were hoping for a bit of peace and safety, away from the war and troubles of the region. Unfortunately one Garm Gully was found dead outside his home in the northern part of the settlement. Fortunately for the peoples a small set of adventurers arrived in time to catch the culprits, a small goblin party, before they could escape. Rumors fill the area of the goblins unnatural nature, that they might be half-wolf or even demonic. Others ask about what the goblins would have wanted with the Gully family, postulating that the husband and wife might have secret treasures buried under the recently finished home.
Miranda Gully, wife of Garm, survived the encounter but has yet to offer any solid information around the event. The Lathanderites have managed to obtain one of the goblins alive, and are working with their best to figure out how this could have happened. Guard Captain Florence Mulberry is offering a reward for any information about the situation. | |

| A few hours after the events, the foreigner known as Kasenmuketsu Harunobu returns to the site. Being of the two who have found the body, he already gave some information to the Lathanderites but it was far from being enough to find out who the "Boss Lady" was. Concerned about the used of necromancy, a very serious blasphemy in his native land, he could not get any rest after the events, and came back to meditate at the site. He inquired with the guards in case the interrogation would have yielded results.
He kneels close to the place from where the guards retrieved the body and starts praying to his ancestors for guidance. He also prays to the deceased man, hoping that he would find his peace and reach the Heavens. After a few hours of praying, he knocks on the door, hoping to find Miranda Gully. If he finds her, he will ask her for a chance to go into the house looking for clues which might have been left behind.
If he can't find her, or after he searches the house (whatever the case), he would retrace the goblins' steps to the woods and try to follow their foot prints. It was a clear night, without rain, but the ground was still slightly damp from the afternoon's rain so he figured it might be easy to do so despite his very little training. | |

| Though the Temple of Lathander is currently severely understaffed, the Abbot Elijah makes haste to the settlement to personally investigate the matter. Relying on his keen senses and deep intuition*, he makes enquiries of the settlement folks and scrutinizes the surroundings to see if he could uncover anything. He also makes sure to interrogate the captured goblin at length.
* Elijah has high spot, listen and wisdom. ((OOC)) | |

| At the moment the house is guarded by a Lathanderite knight, awaiting one of their inquisitors to examine the scene. They would politely refuse Kasenmuketsu's request of help, but would allow him to pray for the slain man. At the moment Miss Gully is staying within the comforts of the temple, and until she says otherwise no one is to bother her. Following only a few goblins through the woods would require a skilled tracker or hunter, though the man would easily be able to find the point that they left the woods and went towards the house.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The people in the settlement are only slightly on edge. "Goblins bein' goblins. Shame the guards didn't notice 'for they got mister Gully. Right oh man he was." Is a common response to be found. Most of the townfolk would rather give respects to the dead and try to move on.
The guard would be happy to allow Elijah into the home. Keen eyes would not that the goblins were searching for something, and the assortment of rope, candle and holder, pillow, or simple key to the house to be the likely desired loot. Dried blood shows the point of murder, the stains dragged across the floor and out the back door where the body was left. There is definitely something odd about the scene, but placing a finger on it might take a bit more time and knowledge. | |

| After hearing of the tragedy, Piak waddles over to the Lathander farms. Before approaching the crime scene itself, he'd search for the abbot Elijah in the monastery, offering his help if he finds him there or asking about his whereabouts. Whereever he meets them, he'd ask the abbot wether he needs an additional pair of eyes. In case he is admitted, he will help to investigate the house itself for any siggns of the number and strength of the marauders, wether they used magic or similar ((high spot and search, above average intelligence, mediocre lore)). If it becomes apparent that the tracks are leading into the woods, he'd return to the city of Song, looking for some of his hunter friends, foremost Alfie, Aramil or Anadra. | |

| Kasenmuketsu Harunobu would gladly introduce himself to Anadra, tell him all that he knows, specifically that the goblins kept talking about their Boss Lady, and offer to assist him would he come to find anything in the woods. | |

| Elijah sees Piak and a look of relief intertwined with sadness spreads across his face. He clasps Piak's shoulders and gives him a firm brotherly shake, and volumes of unspoken words are exchanged in that brief moment.
He joins Piak in the investigations and volunteers to accompany Piak and his friends further into the woods. Before they head out, Elijah studies the scene of the murder again, committing every detail into memory, and examining the scene from every possible angle in his mind for hours later. | |

| If Piak meets Kasenmuketsu, he'd greet the stranger politely, likely returning a bow as he learned from his old friend Sinjin. He'd ask for the report, grumbling a silent curse when he hears about necromancy. Before the small group departs into the woods, he buys some supplies at the market place. "We should try to move silently if possible, we don't know if it's just a small band of marauders or a whole tribe." | |

| *After allowing the widow Miranda Gully time to mourn the loss of her husband, Arya is seen after sunrise travelling to the Lathanderite Settlement. She greets those she passes in her usual warm manner and takes a moment in silence once she reaches the farmhouse to show respect to the man who had perished. She would introduce herself as Tael Arya to the Knight on duty near the scene of the terrible crime and ask if the goblin captured had been questioned yet and if so what information had been found to add to her reports. She would then ask if the widow had returned and if not she would send a message to the temple asking Miranda to speak with her as soon as possible. If she happens to come across the others along the way she would inform them that she was investigating the matter and would come along if they planned on following the tracks that had been left by the pack of mutant goblins.* | |

| Only having just heard of what is going on in the Lathanderite settlement, just outside the temple he'd been frequenting for the last month, Finn leaves Shadowdale. Fearing that he may have been able to do something if he'd remained. | |

| What about Tuesday, anytime between 1600 and midnight (GMT-5)? I would let it up to you do determine the best time according to timezones if the day works well with you. Or I would be available on Wednesday for the whole day (except for my night, of course). | |
