The Return

When Fidehliss Utterminox returned from his lonesome patrol, the citizens of Shadowdale had no idea that he would be bringing back HIM. The man in black that brought terror, and yet safety, to their little town.

The man was not that tall or that imposing in build. It was perhaps the way his skin stretched over his face like a creature of Undeath. Or perhaps it was that sadistic gleam in his bright, blue eyes when he struck people. Maybe it was because they knew he had powerful necromantic powers they wouldn't dare cross. Whatever the reason... He was back, and he was a man that was to be feared.

There was no fanfare. There were no cheers. His return was heralded by the same thing his exodus brought on... A mere change in the atmosphere of Shadowdale. It was subtle. Very subtle. The tension seemed a bit thicker and more intense to those that recognized Justin. To those who did not know him...

They would tread in fear.

Magnus would observe this unfamiliar man and ponder, his wolf like eyes appraising him. "Interesting" he would say in a low tone.
